T.A. Ross Construction Reviews (3)

Review: We contracted with this company to install a 12 by 16 foot kennel area and a 30x50 3 bay garage pole building steel structures on our property. They where to start contstruction the first week of July, we made a down payment of $20,000. I called them July 1st to see when they where going to start, first, they didn't know who I was, then said oh--we are starting end of July, first of august--but would call me in a few days to set a date. Never received a call. We attempted to reach them numerous times (mail box full or left messages) finally, lumber delivered 7/28/14. Started lumber construction, spent 2 days at our property--told steel would be delivered 8/4. never delivered, no further work done, unable to reach them until 8/15--told my husband they would call 8/18 to tell us when they would be back. Never received a call. Originally told us it would take 5 days to install garage and 3 to install kennel. I have been boarding dogs since the first week of July at $25.00/dog/day and my husband has been paying to store cars since then.Desired Settlement: Work needs to be completed, because of significant delay reimbursement for moneys paid for boarding of dogs and storing vehicles

Review: Contract was entered into July 2013 for a 40x60x16 pole building. As of this date, only posts and purlins have been erected. No product remains at construction site. Contractor was paid $16,000.00 plus, which is half of amount owed per contract. At this time, contractor will not return phone calls or answer telephone.Desired Settlement: I want the building erected and finished per contact specifications within two week period. Also am seeking monetary compensation for the cost of storage cost incurred due to not having the building constructed.

Review: Pole Barns (T.A. Ross, Construction) entered into an agreement with [redacted] for a 3-car garage. He verbally said he that once the contract was signed and he received a $2,0000 deposit, he would start excavation in 3 weeks with the promise that the whole garage would be complete in 2-3 weeks after excavation. We signed a contract with him and he collected a deposit of $2,000 (July 3, 2014). After multiple phone calls, he finally started excavation which was not done properly. He promised another excavator would come out and fix the problem and level it out and another $8,000 deposit was given on October 3, 2014. [redacted]. [redacted] promised delivery of building material for the week of October 5, 2014 to start construction. It never came; and, after multiple attempts, we can not get a return phone call from him. It is now November 2, 2014 and he has never gotten back to us. We have a giant, unlevel hole in our yard with huge mounds of dirt everywhere WITH NO GARGAGE.Desired Settlement: We would like $9,000 returned to us ($10,000 - $1,000 for excavation = $9,000).
