The Taben Group is very sorry to hear that Mr. [redacted] is not happy with the service that has been provided to him.  I have researched his account and find the [redacted] process has been handled well within the time lines set forth by the Federal Government.  I have outlined the series of...

events that have occurred: 1.       Mr. [redacted]’s last day of employment was 06-23-17 with active benefits ending 06-30-17. Federal Law allows the employer 30 days after the date of loss to notify their administrator.  In turn the administrator is allowed 14 days to mail the [redacted] offer to member.  The employer provided Mr. [redacted] information to us on 06-30-17 and Taben mailed members [redacted] packet 07-07-17.  2.       Mr. [redacted]’s enrollment form was received in our office the afternoon of  07-17-17 and processed 07-18-17.  Updates were sent to the carriers 07-19-17.  We do have confirmed receipts they were received by BCBS and Delta Dental. Carriers must be given time to work the requests, as a rule we advise members updating time is 5-7 business days.  To date it has been 4 business days.  3.       Our call log shows Mr. [redacted]’s called 07-19-17 asking if the enrollment form and payment have been received, he was advised yes and also advised of the 5-7 business day update time.  Mr. [redacted]’s called again 07-24-17 stating benefits were not showing active yet.  Mr. [redacted] was advised again of the time to update. Mr. [redacted]’s benefits will be updated back to his date of loss once the carriers have updated the benefits.  There will be no lapse in coverage.  As a courtesy I have reached out to BCBS and Delta to verbally confirm receipt of the enrollment request along with ask them to process as soon as possible. Sincerely, JoAnna [redacted]The Taben Group###-###-####   [redacted]
