the truck was completed he was a happy customer so I thought. Since after he picked up the vehicle HE complained 2 weeks or so later to me about the detail shop he took his truck to after. He said they detailed his truck out and they buffed out the truck and dulled down the paint job. [redacted] was frustrated about the detail shop and kept coming back to MY shop complaining of it. I didn't know anything about the roof issue until [redacted] came back from the detail shop . It was too soon to buff and they warmed up the paint by buffing it out and messed the entire paint was dulled down. It was done incorrectly. [redacted] came back so many times complaining about the detail shop , I finally told him I will buff it out for no charge. When he came in on the appointment to have me buff it out he sat over me for the whole duration of me buffing it out -the entire two days. So this is where I am at. I took it upon myself to help him out by buffing it out and I know this customer for 6 yrs. So I buffed it out except the tailgate. He was once again happy ( because it was shiny again.) Then he said, " There's a spot on the roof that messed up. So I told him I will repaint this for him. He knew what happened to the paint job and so did I. It screwed it up and I heard it so many times. He didn't want the other detail shop to touch it because he was not happy with their work and he wouldn't go back to them. I did try to contact him several times today. I left a voice message at 2:33 approx, on 6/12/17 after reading this complaint. I want to be sure [redacted] knows I will make good on my work. Sonora Tire is not affiliated with Taboada's Auto Body. I feel like he is blaming me for someones elses business all in one email. These are two separate trucks. Two separate businesses.
