I spoke with you on the phone the other day regarding a falsified complaint against my shop. This complaint is holds no validity. This particular customer
called our shop and complained that we sold her an item that was not authentic. My nephew took the call in front of us, and he told her that he didn’t know much about authenticity of items and that he would have our Product Manager get back to her. He told her that it may take a couple days for a return phone call, as our product manager was out of the office. He NEVER said we only sell authentic Kanger products, as we actually sell NO Kanger products at our shop. She came into our shop less than hours from her initial phone call and immediately was aggressive and loud. She complained that nobody called her back, when we in-fact told her it may take a couple of days. This customer had no receipt for the item that she purchased. Her complaint that the item she bought was not authentic was dismissed, because we never claimed the item was an authentic Kanger item. In the vaping world, there are many clones, this is a clone, and the price she paid for it reflected that. She would have paid twice as much for it if it was authentic. Her item was in perfect working condition, the problem she had was that she purchased coils for the tank from another company online, and she bought the wrong coils for it. She has admitted that she is new to vaping, so this mistake was made because of her inexperience and the fact that she purchased the wrong coils from another company. We told her to take that up with the company she bought the coils with and that we could not give her a refund, as there was nothing wrong with her item, she had used it for weeks, and she did not have a receipt. She proceeded to become belligerent and began using profanity. We had customers in our shop while this was taking place, and they also had their children with them. They have said they would be willing to give a statement regarding this incident. This customer used the f-word multiple times, in front of the children that were in the shop, so my sister exchanged words with her, never using the F-word, as my sister does not use that word. Again, our customers/witnesses can attest to that. We have since received a vulgar email from this customer, and she has since been slandering our business on multiple vaping forums.
A few days after the harassing email, our store was broken into. The police have taken all of the evidence, copies of her emails and will be questioning her.
Her complaint is solely a case of sour-grapes, she was out of line, profane and belligerent. This is the one and only time this has ever happened to us, and we have been in business for years
