Over the past 5 - 6 years I have placed over 75 orders with TW. I have never had any problem with anything. They have the best selection and lowest prices consistently. They have almost everything. I used to by a lot of tackle from BP but rarely visit their site since finding TW. Wish I could bu some stock in same.
Review: My name is [redacted]. I'm an attorney from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This morning I tried to purchase a new G-Loomis rod for a friend of mine in New Jersey. My friend had help me with a difficult situation and I wanted to show my appreciation. I received a call from tackle warehouse a few hours after the order processed. I was in court most of the day, so I couldn't return the call until around 4:30. I was told that the order could not be processed because the billing address did not match the address where the rod was going to be delivered. As a criminal defense attorney, I realize better than most that fraudulent transactions are rampant these days. I offered to give them copies of my driver's license, passport, Social Security card, Courthouse access cards, or any other documents they needed to mail the rod to my friend in New Jersey.The gentleman I spoke with assured me that this is not possible. He told me there system will not let them mail a rod to a different address than the billing address. I find this hard to believe considering I have personally ordered multiple rods from tackle warehouse and have never run across this problem. I have approximately 20 rods, most of which are Falcon, G-Loomis, and [redacted]'s. I would estimate that at least 1/2 of them came from Tackle Warehouse. I can assure you that I will not buy any more products from Tackle Warehouse. If this is your definition of customer service, I will send my business elsewhere. Please remove me from all your e-mail lists, and do not ever contact me again in anyway. I'll be sure to let everyone on the forums know at tackletour.com how I was treated. Hopefully I can help steer people away from Tackle Warehouse in the future.Desired Settlement: I don't want anything for free. All I wanted is for them to send the damn rod where I wanted it sent. Apparently that's too much to ask even even I have 12 forms of government issued ID. I don't want anything from Tackle Warehouse. I'll just go through another business from now on.
Review: I had ordered 4 fishing lures from Tackle Warehouse. 2 of them were good, but 2 were visibly defective and upon trying them, they wouldn't even swim properly. I called tackle warehouse to inform them. I clearly informed them that they were defective and not swimming properly. They asked me to send pictures, which I did. This is the email I had received back from them:Hello Stephanie,I was under the impression that you had received the wrong product/color, sorry about that misunderstanding. As far as them not swimming properly, we haven't heard anything from the manufacture on a recall but you can contact the company that makes them, Bagley. If their employees would have looked at them before shipping them out, they would have seen that they were defective. They should have shipped good ones in the first place.
