Wrong Order (Drive Thru)
Went to Taco Bueno on 2/22/2023 at Store#8051about 1:20 pm the receipt says 1:40 pm but I actually was waiting a while to get my order. I ordered 1 Beef Muchaco Platter. The young girl seemed as if she knew what she was doing, so I trusted that and didn't check my order or receipt until I arrived home. Opened my order and I was so shocked and upset that my order was incorrect. The receipt was even incorrect. The receipt had "1 Beef Chilada Platter." Well. I definitely did not order this! Tried contacting that location by phone and the mailbox was full. So, I went back up there, and this time I went on the inside. It appeared that I'm the only customer on the inside. There I see two black ladies (one cashier and one prep cook). So, the young girl who handed me my order thru the drive thru, I remembered her face, so I would assume that she is that same lady. As she approached the counter, I was looking up at the menu to make sure that I'm correct on what my order should be, then what is on the receipt. The receipt is saying, "1 Beef Chilada Pltr," and I tell the lady at the counter this is not what I ordered. So, the other lady decides to come to the front counter I guess to listen, and she says to me, why are you looking or talking to me. Well, I would assume, since she came up to the counter, I guess my conversation would be for both of the ladies. But with the unprofessionalism and attitude she gave me, it was as if I was in the wrong for bringing the order back. So, I told her I guess I'm talking to the other lady then. So, I started talking to the other lady and she was trying to be a smart Alic about the situation too. She asked me did I want the soft or hard taco shell. I told her I want it exactly like what the menu is showing (one hard and one soft taco shell) So she asks me do you know what type of taco shell the soft one is, and I told her no. The fact is, it didn't matter if I knew what the soft taco is. What mattered is I see something I want, I paid my money for it, and I'm here to get it. Ok, and what's your point! I told the lady this several times over and over what I wanted, and she still wanted to question me about the taco as if I'm in the wrong for bringing the order back. I don't know what their problem was, but the prep lady looks as if either she was half sleep or on something and the other lady wanted to school me on what a soft taco shell is. I really didn't care to know what shoe goes on which foot because at the end of the day I'm still buying it! If it looks good on the menu, I'm buying it! So, maybe that's why my order was incorrect. They really didn't care, or it was too difficult for them to prepare. Or I guess since they were the only two employees working, maybe they felt like they could do whatever they wanted to do and get away with it. At this point I'd lost all respect for Taco Bueno and felt like I was being double-teamed on and was really afraid of being in there alone with the two ladies because of their attitudes. I was the only customer on the inside and they were the only two workers there. And because of the attitude they brought to the table, made me think differently about them. So, I just took my sack, left, and made a complaint. I'm the customer and I have a right to be upset if my order isn't correct as it should be. And on top of that, I had to drive back just to get my order corrected when it should have been right the first time. There were no apologies, no professionalism, no manners from either lady and they never credited me back the difference vs. the two orders. If you don't like your job, don't come to work. Stay at home and take your frustration out on your dog, because as a customer, we are the ones keeping Taco Bueno in business and making it possible for you to get paid. I'll never buy from the Hampton Rd Dallas location again. I'm not even sure if I still want to buy from Taco Bueno period. Taco Bueno need customers, but customers can always take their money and go somewhere else. Keep that in mind.

D- rating on BBB of Dallas, the City of their Headquarters, and Hiding from People!
You cannot contact these people? These Charlatans continue to hide behind a D- rating on BBB of Dallas, the phone number they gave to BBB is out of Service, doesn't answer, and ALL the numbers posted for the location I ate are out of service. Since they filed for BANKRUPTCY 3 years ago, the product, service and attitude has been appalling, as can be evidenced by their reviews everywhere you look and on the BBB of the town they call Home. The product quality at the location near me is so bad that it's inedible, and they do nothing to improve. On 2 occasions recently, and several others over the past 2 years, I've gotten over $20 worth of Tacos from Drive Thru only to get home in the food is ice cold, never was heated at all, and the taco shells have no crunch, as stale as you could possibly make them. The attitude is poor at this location, never a smile or greeting, just grumbles when they answer so you can't hear them. I've never seen such a complete failure on ALL LEVELS! The manager and owner need to be removed, and maybe the business just needs to go ahead and finish dying. They've been limping along for at least 4 years now and don't seem to care to improve. It's a punishment to everyone.

Worst nachos ever
Nachos cost around $7. The chips are gummy hard and greasy. I can't chew them up. There is barely any "cheese sauce" or "chili" on them maybe 3 to tablespoons altogether. The cheese and chili are mostly oil. Location 39th Expy, okc, OK.
Worst nachos ever

Princeton store
Norman was the nicest most enthusiastic general manager I have seen in a long time. He praised his employees and cares about his customers. Great job !

On 13 March 2018 my 86 year old mother and her 91 year old friend ordered some "special" items advertised on the window posters. The young man taking the order mistakenly charged the regular unadvertised similar items. When my mother asked why the price was so high, he apologized and went to speak with the Manager, Bonita (or similar name). The manager came out and RUDELY told these senior ladies that "the order was what the order was...If they wanted a full refund she would give it to them but she would not change the order". My mother again asked for the advertised items but was told the window posters were incorrect, she was refused. When my mother asked why they put the items on the window but don't honor the prices, again she was told the posters were incorrect and they would be changed.
My mother, her friend and the many other folks who live in her senior community are very unhappy with this incident and I only came to learn about it because I overheard 8 of them talking about Taco Bueno the next day, and not in a positive light. Regardless of the situation, the treatment of these 2 senior ladies is inexcusable. Whether mistaken advertising or just plain laziness, we'll never know the exact reasons. And frankly I don't care. It's not the money but the attitude towards senior guests. I'm fairly certain that had I been there the result would have been different. Or at least I hope so for your Taco Bueno business' sake. The Taco Bueno I know and remember was always gracious and more than understanding from a customer perspective. Shame on you Taco Bueno at this location on William D Tate in Grapevine, Tx...shame.
