Taco Cabana Corporate Office Reviews (%countItem)

Ordered and paid for Bean and Cheese Nachos via Taco Cabana website on 01JUN. Added Sour Cream to order and website defaulted to '50' additional sour creams for an extra $24.50. I did not catch it in time and ended up paying for the extra sour cream and refusing it when I picked up my food. I have contacted Taco Cabana 3 times via the *** customer service line and have been ignored. Each time I call back and ask about status of my claim, I'm advised that someone will call me back. To date, no one from Taco Cabana has contacted me via email or phone.

I went in the day before Xmas and had the best cashier ever her name was Esther I'll never forget her she was polite and awesome she made my family and I come again than you for your great customer service... Taco Cabana

I am a regular at TC and used their catering service recently. I went in yesterday at the 11722 IH-35 North San Antonio, TX location and came across the worst cashier, I have ever dealt with. I ordered a specific Plate and have ordered that same Crane Guisada plate every time for the past 24 years living in Texas. When it came to my table, It was in taco form, so the young man asked if that what I ordered. I said no I ordered CG. So the cashier happened to walk up then and I explained to him I expected CG on the plate! His response was " they (meaning two tacos) are on the plate, I am not trying to be a smart ***" Once you say that, that is exactly what you are being. there is a difference between carne guisada taco plate, and a Crane Guisada plate. At this point the actual plate mistake was not the issue. It was everything else after, also having the same cashier going to up to every table asking how everything was, passing my table numerous times. This situation could have been quite different with just a few word. (sorry for the mistake, we will fix it right away)

At this location I’ve been there numerous of times and my food has been served to me cold. This is actually my first time in a long time going back to this location after they served me un-cooked ground beef. I understand that they don’t want customers wait time to be long but they should think about the satisfaction of what’s been served to people. Taco cabana food is great, the customer service is very poor.

I am a regular customer at the Missouri City taco cabana. When I went in today the girl waited till she was through playing with her phone before she came up to the counter. I ordered a drink and a large chips n quesa. I went outside to the cabana and waited. Many full meal orders were given and filled after my small order. About 18 minutes I walked back in and the girl went to put some chips in a container and pick up a little thing of cheese. She said they were busy and that was why my order was almost 20 minutes. This was a blatant lie. Many full orders were given and filled after my small order. Rather than say she was sorry they forgot it she chose to lie. I told here I wanted a refund at which time she huffed over to the trash can and threw the perfectly good chips and quesa in the trash. She knew I said I wanted a refund but walked away and left me standing there like a fool. Is this even lame customer service or below lame. Her phone is the most important thing, not clocking in and getting paid by taco cabana. May be choosing another place to spend my money. And since I tried to contact corporate but they don't answer the phone during regular business without a secret extension number the customer looses out all the way around.

Had to wait over an hour for the food. The sauces were empty and mixed with other food that did not belong in there clearly. The entire front lobby was empty and left unattended for over 40 minutes by any employee. There was no one to help me find out about my order. I was shorted items on my order and the items I did receive were horribly put together and did not live up to the expectations of taco cabana. I tried to contact taco cabana several times once I found the food missing and inadequate and they did not answer they're phone all 5 times I tried to contact them.

I have contacted taco cabana dozens of times through various platforms including social media about the la k of hand washing/unsanitary preparation of food , customer service and app issues, being charged for food I did not receive. I was told several times that my concerns were being handled but MONTHS later no action has been taken.

Unable to get a response fr9m a human being at taco cabana concerning a issue

Hello, my name is ***. I wanted to report on a restaurant Taco Cabana, I believe this company is selling food that is getting people sick in the Austin area. I looked online for several different areas and most of the food poison complaints are located in the Austin area.
The store I experience this issue with is located on Austin, TX-Riverside Dr. I and a friend ordered the Chicken Nachos and shortly after or before we could even finish eating them then we both started throwing up and having stomach pain to the point that it has not gone away just yet. I immediately contacted the restaurant to let them know of this matter and they offered new fresh food and I proceed to try once agailn for better food but the situation only got worse and I ended up having to rush to the ER. I contacted the managers of the restaurant and they advised me that Insurance would contact me within 24-48 and it has been a week with no response. I had to visit the ER twice but still nothing could be done as told by the ER Doctor and the company refuses to try and understand and help me out that I could have died from food poison or something more serious.
As I write his email I'm still feeling terribly sick and possibly might need to take another trip to the ER.
I really hope that this will bring attention to the City of Austin, so that someone else will not have to endure and have a horrible and terrible experience.
I have taken screenshot of the good posion incidents and that every screenshot shows that Chicken, that has been included in the recipe has been making others very sick as well.
Please, contact me if someone is able to help me.

Taco Cabana Corporate Office Response • Jun 19, 2019

The Guest *** was given compensation for his meal ( cash refund). DM Salman stated he spoke to the guest when it was first reported as a service check complaint and guest stated the insurance did make contact to the guest. Also the guest contacted the health dept.; the following day the health inspector did visit the restaurant and found no issues with our product quality. Thank you

I went to taco cabana on 4/1/19 around 9:45 am. This location is right by me and my sisters school so we go often. I got 2 bacon, egg, cheese and potato breakfast tacos along with 1 bacon egg and cheese taco for my pregnant sister, who use to work at this locations before having issues with the GM *** about payment. After We order *** proceeds to tell me she added an extra taco at the bottom and that the tacos for my sister were at the bottom she even pointed at my sister. I walked out of the building telling my sister she seemed nice but asking my sister can we trust her ? My sister said no but I thought she was joking. We go back to school within 2 minutes and look through our bag of tacos mine is fine but my sisters had something that looked like it came off the bottom of a shoe a clump of gunk with hair in it I laughed thinking she was joking again but her face dropped so I knew she was serious. I returned to the store with my sister and asked for a refund and a new taco she looked spooked as I came in the door as if she already knew what the problem at hand was. She then asked me with an attitude did I was a refund or did I want a new taco I replied both. She then gives me a refund for 1 taco and instead of having somebody make my sister taco stat! She going to the back with another women who self inspectes the taco just to find exactly what I described. All in all I was very upset I was absolutely disgusted! I ended up not even eating my tacos and didn’t return to the store. My sister is literally pregnant right now and to do that to her or not be aware of what your serving is absurd to me! I don’t appreciate this act at all will not recommend this location to any other students in the future.

Taco Cabana Corporate Office Response • May 14, 2019

Good morning I just spoke to you of the incident at Taco Cabana. After following up with the GM and DM *** this was incident was taken care of the following day. The guest Ms. was given a refund and also replaced her order. Sincerely

I went by the Drive-Thru of this establishment- As I was placing my order, the man taking my order was being extremely rude and kept cutting me off and being extremely sarcastic, very unprofessional, I drove up to the window and asked the man if he was the one taking my order (he never directed eye contact with me)in a loud tone he stated no, he had just walked to the front and it mush have been somebody in the back. I asked him if I could speak to his manager he stated he was the manager I asked for his name- he said his name was ***- I then asked for his general managers name- he informed it was ***- I asked him how I could get a hold of his general manager, and he stated I could get the phone number off of the front door and call him. I said excuse me could you give me his number- he stated no you can get it off of the front door. I asked him why he was being so rude and unprofessional- why was he in bad mood- and he raised his voice at me and stated he wasn't and said my order total was $26. This type of behavior was completely uncalled for, I never at any point raised my voice at this Guy, never insulted him in any way, or was I being rude putting in my order. However, he seemed bothered for having to be at work and his behavior was unacceptable.

Saturday I went to taco cabana on w. Malone they had messed up my order twice already. I purchased an enchilada plate my food was very cold and I didn't get my tortillas or guacamole. So I called and spoke with the manager. I went back the next day and they messed it up again I was missing tortillas and guacamole but this time my rice was hard.

This place is horrible. I have been here 3 times and never had a good experience. What lead me to report this business is an experience I recently had. I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes and then when I got home then they gave me the wrong order. This place is not only short staffed, but the employees don’t care to deliver accurately in a timeline manner.

This place either needs to be completely revamped for me to go back. At this point, it’s closed in my mind.

Fast food restaurant failed to provide food that I purchased. Upon letting them know, they failed to issue a refund after multiple attempts. Terrible service from all levels of leadership, especially their district manager "***"

Everytime I've gone into pretty much every location around Texas, like San Marco's tx kyle tx austin tx Houston tx. Etc I have never gotten the same quality I order mostly the black bean tacos. Without lettuce and tomatoes. So just rice and beans, pretty simple right? Well every time something is wrong well about 90% of the time. Either the rice is hard the rice is soggy the rice taste old the rice is cold as with the black beans either they're out of black beans or the black beans are hard or rubbery or mushy one time I ordered the black beans and they were just completely rock hard I sent them back and I could tell that they just microwaved them. Is this an item that hardly anyone buys or is there no quality test before putting them on the line? I've worked in many restaurants and yes it sometimes happens but the manager should know to correct this issue if the product is not cooked all the way dont serve it. Are they following the correct holding time of the product? Taste and temp being followed? .
Thanks
John s. Kyle tx, most visited kyle store off kyle parkway newest location.

I had ordered 5 dozen TC taco box for my shop's breakfast online. On the website it said to contact your local TC for a receipt if you have not received it after 10 minutes. After 20 minutes I called TC in San Marcos, Tx (store number #151) to have them email me my receipt of $75.72. To my surprise the manager Floylan Gorostieta was incredibly rude! I had explained to him I did not receive my receipt through email to which I was told by Floylan "Well you should have received it if you ordered online. So what do you want me to do??" I told him again I have yet to receive my receipt can you please email me it. Floylan then says "send you what?? All I have on my screen is your confirmation and credit card numbers saying it's paid for." I told him can you send me that so I have some type of proof it was paid for. As he asked me for my email he constantly had me repeat my email address with one of his employees laughing in the back. Take your business somewhere else.

My name is *** and I am submitting this letter to inform you of an inappropriate situation that I experienced at the Taco Cabana (TC) Restaurant located at ***.
On July 26, 2018, I stopped by the TC Store #*** and ordered food. While there, I spoke with the Manager (Jeannette—Employee ***) on duty and asked if I was still on the TC payroll as an active employee because for the last four (4) months, I have not worked at TC for some time due to work conflicts with my primary job.
At that time, ***Employee ***) advised that I was not on the TC payroll any longer. When it was explained to me that I was no longer eligible for the TC employee discount, I then gave them my husband’s Military ID Card because my husband is in the military and he was waiting in the car for me. My husband’s Military ID was used as a discount for my order. I then informed ***Employee ***) that I needed to place an order for four (4) boxes of breakfast tacos for the following day (Friday, 7/27/2018). I asked, ***Employee ***) if I needed to pay for the order that night (7-26-2018), and ***Employee ***) stated that I could pay for the order on Friday morning.
On July 27, 2018, I stopped by TC around 7:00 AM to pick up my order (four (4) boxes of breakfast tacos). Due to the fact that I was a former employee of TC, the employee taking my order asked if I was supposed to receive a discount and I told her “yes.” Now remember, the night before (7-26-2018), I showed my husband military ID Card ***Employee ***), placed my order with ***Employee ***), and ***Employee ***) told me that I would receive a military discount for the order.
At that time, I handed the TC employee (***) my credit card, but I did not look at the total of the bill. ***Employee ***) immediately walked up to the cash register and told *** that I was not supposed to get the employee discount because I no longer worked for TC . ***Employee ***) then stated that she had told all TC employees that I did not work there any longer. I then told ***Employee ***) that I was not aware that *** was referring to the TC employee discount and I thought she was referring to my husband’s military discount. Again, remember that the night before, ***Employee ***) approved my husband’s military discount for the order/pick up that morning.
After noticing that *** had listed my discount as an employee discount, I immediately asked *** to void that transaction and to provide me a correct invoice using my husband’s military discount.
Suddenly, ***TC Manager), in the presence of everyone including both TC employees and other TC customers stated to me in Spanish “Cabrona tu sabas que no tienes el descuento.” For your information, “Cabrona” is Spanish vulgar slang word meaning son of a *** or swine. I immediately informed ***Employee ***) that I was not a (Cabrona) and that I was very offended by her disrespectful words and attitude considering that I was a former employee and now a paying “CUSTOMER.” After telling ***Employee ***) how offended I was, she walked away and did not even apologize for her inappropriate and inconsiderate actions.
I would like to state for the record that I was extremely embarrassed being called a Cabrona in the presence of TC customers and TC employees and very offended by her callous & deplorable words to intentionally inflict pain. It should be noted that ***Employee ***) had previously approved my husband’s military discount on the night of 7-26-2018 and at that time, she instructed me to pay for the order on the morning of 7-27-2018. When I reported TC to pay/pick up my order, ***Employee ***) accused me of trying to use an employee discount when I was aware I was not an employee and when she (Jeannette--Employee ***) had previously approved the military discount the night before. Instead, she insulted me by calling me a “Cabrona” and I resent the fact that TC Manager would conduct themselves in an inappropriate manner to a customer at the same time, provide negative role modeling for subordinate TC employees.
I sincerely hope that the TC Corporate Office does not condone the actions of one of their Manager’s calling any customer a derogatory name…especially in the presence of other TC employees as well as TC customers. Her comments towards me were abrasive, accusatory, and inflammatory in nature as well as a direct attack on my integrity and I am formally requesting to speak with a Corporate Regional Director about this incident.

I recently tried Taco Cabana's online ordering feature since it's been so heavily advertised and I was in a hurry during my lunch hour. I waited to get a confirmation email, to let me know that my order had been received or at least to let me know that it was ready. I got nothing. I attempted to call the restaurant at the number provided so that I could ask them what the hold up was... and still did not get a reply. Now I've been trying to contact the business and establishment to no avail.

I went thur the drive thru at Culebra location to order breakfast tacvos at 8:00 pm because they advertiza,on January 3, 20018 and paid for them an d they told me to drive to the front I was there foe 15 minutes and I walk to the the counter and sdasid give me my tacos thehy rudely ignored me and picked up the phone to call police=== I left.
