THere is the situation directly from our customer service representative who has been dealing with this personYou ought to remove this complaint as he is a dishonest and nasty person. This is the customer I told you about that ordered from different places....us, Home Depot, and Wayfair. He
his *** order with us the day after he ordered it (on a Saturday) and then emailed with a threat that if we did not cancel it he would file a claim with his credit card company and refuse the shipment. He received his *** from Wayfair. Before he ordered the *** he had ordered the wired remote thermostat. He then called after receiving it saying that it was not working for his needs as he cancelled the order for the unit complaining about the design of it. He sent that back and we refunded him. Then he started a return with Wayfair to return the *** unit. As I was waiting for this return I received another order from Wayfair for the same product. I contacted Wayfair to find out what was going on. They said that he said that the first unit was defective so the second order was for a replacement for the defective unit. After he spoke with Wayfair and was promised a replacement from them he started a warranty claim with us. Trying to get units for the price of one!! Come to find out hes has been travelling with the unit permanently mounted to the tongue of his trailer. Before I ever got a chance to make any determination with his case he personally threatened me. Below are some of the comments he sent to me:*If you buy a house in the near future, I hope there isn’t a bunch of problems that turn out to be your fault because you were misleadAnd when you do, and there is (the universe don’t like people who do me wrong) then maybe you’ll think of meBtw, the only way to remedy your real-estate nightmare is to replace my defective unitOr don’t...if you end up with a money pit that would be karma enough for meYour company sucks- *** *3/19*So you’re telling me I have to dismantle the unit when I decide to travel? As if it can handle bouncing better in the sleeper in in my truck than it can mounted to the trailer? Sounds like your products aren’t suited for travelingThat’s goes against the entire idea of buying your productIt’s counter intuitiveAnd this is not explained in any of the videos climate right providesIt what it isHope you love your Revdex.com rating. - *** *3/19He then at some point in the conversation tried to make it out that we sent him a used unit saying:This unit is barely over a month oldAnd I learned from x-employee at a *** warehouse the lack of a Serial number stamped on the side with the ratings indicates a refurbished device and instead will have a sticker with a serial number printed on it?? - *** **He mentioned that the unit was bolted down to the tongue of the trailer. I asked if he left it there while driving down the road and his response was:Wait, you just asked me if the unit was bolted to the trailer?! I already told you it wasYou’re not reading what I’m telling youDo y’all care about Revdex.com ratings? *** ** 4:28pmThis whole conversation with him lasted from 2:15-5:22pm on 3/

I only purchased the A/C from Wayfair and attempted to order their 10000btu version directly from Climate Right . I cancelled the order with ClimateRight after realizing they are the manufacturer; Wayfair was selling their product. I cancelled the order directly with Climate right because their customer service wouldn’t help with the Wayfair order. Apparently the unit is not supposed to be permanently mounted on a trailer while driving. But their website advertises with videos and pictures for this very purpose and isn’t up front about the need to disassemble the 60lb unit and put it away before driving. They won’t honor warranties for their units if mounted directly to trailers; they should put big flashing warnings and disclaimers in their videos because their website is contrary to what the pictures and videos show. The only warning is a bold print statement that can be easily overlooked. Wayfair refunded my money. But this company really should go out of their way to warn consumers. I only found one short paragraph. It’s kind of like a loop hole for the company to avoid liability for a product when they know exactly why people are buying these things. They’re obviously not intended to be sold as window units.I don’t want anything except to see the company do what’s right and make it OBVIOUS the unit shouldn’t be permanently mounted.
