when we sell our used units - we go though the unit and make sure all the appliances are working, then when the customers come to pick up the unit we walk the customer though the unit showing them all the appliance work andthey do there final inspection of the unit. The customer
then goes into the office and does there final paper work and at that time they sign the as is on the unit. This is the process on all our used, We do check the dates on the propane tanks for the year date if they are out of date we change them. If we missed it on this unit we are happy to take care of that for the customer. They can give us a call and swing in on a camping trip and we will take care of it

I am rejecting this response because:The business stated that they explain the process upon delivery which is not true in my caseI did not find out that there was a deposit required until after I had picked up the trailer plus monthsI had to call and remind them that they still had work outstandingThis is when I was informed of the deposit and that they did not file the appropriate paperwork upon delivery

This was a used unit  and the customer has signed an as is on this unit. We did shampoo the carpet per the customer request before they took delivery.  We would not know if a unit has fleas.  I did offer the customer to re shampoo carpet but the customer hung up on...

refrigerator on January 27th of 2017.  We did have to order the customer a new heat pump. it does take about 3 weeks for  parts to get to us from Indiana.  The customers unit was deliver back to them on February 26th.   In the RV world this is very timely for a start to finish when parts are being ordered  for a unit.  any other questions please let me knowLaDonna M[redacted]Tacoma RV

the customer has turned this into there insurance company as there was a hole in the roof that caused the leakingLaDonna

Yes the customer did his walk through and was shown how to work everything and yes we ran the generator and it  worked without leaking.  After the walk through he went in the office and signed the
paper work.  He scheduled for us to deliver the unit  the next day...

which we did.  We did leave the unit  and yes  the driver was turned around after delivering the unit  with the customer saying the generator was leaking gas.  we went back and picked up the unit.  We found a loose fitting on the generator.  we tightened the fitting and the generator
tested totally fine.  We went to return the unit to the customer and he said he didn't want the unit.  There was nothing wrong with the unit and we once again assured the customer the unit was totally safe and fine.  The customer stopped payment on his check and refused to get us a piece of paper we needed for the bank to fund the contract.
We did  extras to the unit for the customer.  We will not be refunding the $1800.00 on the customers visa for the extra's we added to the unit.  The contract will not go thought and he has stopped payment on his down payment check.   I am sorry the customer feels I was rude I wasn't I just told him the unit was perfectly safe and we would be continueing  with his purchase
but  he did not want to hear those words

Our parts deposit is totally refundable once the customer comes in and has the part installed. This is one policy that we don’t wave for any of our customers. I am sorry this is an inconvenience for the customer but this is the only way for us to control our costs on warranty part.LaDonna

Unfortunately, as the owner of Tacoma RV Center, I have a responsibility not just to my customers but also to what is best for the company.  Once I had reviewed the initial quote that was given to the customer by one of our managers, I felt that it was imperative that I call the customer and...

explain why this had to be adjusted.  It is never my intention to back out of a deal and I am always trying to do what is best for all involved.  I do acknowledge that a mistake was overlooked regarding a trade in.  We appreciate return customers and referrals as well as this is our way of earning business We will use this as a training scenario so that this unfortunate situation does not occur again.  And again, we apologize for the miscommunications and hope that we can move forward in the future towards earning you back as a customer.

Our policy is to get a totally refundable deposit when we order warranty parts for a customer. The reason why we have this policy is to ensure that our customer come back and have the parts that were ordered put on there unit. manufacture if the customerdoesn't come in and have us replace the part on their unit.  The only way we get our money back is to return the old part to the manufacture. We explain this to our customer at the time of delivery. LaDonna

Giving us the option of 5,000 less on a trade in when you said you would list it for exactly what was said by the manager is INSANE! I am sure you made a decent profit off of the original sale last year. Then we come back and want to trade in the same unit, almost new. The original price we were given, we were comfortable with knowing we were getting a decent trade and you guys would still be making a decent profit. We more than understand overhead, profit margins, fair prices, etc  and feel that the original offer was fair on both sides, that is why we did not ask for more money on our end or try and get the in stock unit for less. I just cannot see how it is justifiable to make FIVE THOUSAND more dollars off of us when we have already given your dealership multiple cash sales and referrals. I know from our own business practices I would much rather make small amounts off of a bunch of happy customers than make a lot off of one very angry customer, but that is just my personal opinion and experience.
