Review: My vehicle was towed from BJs parking lot in Yorktown Heights by Taconic Towing on Monday 8/**. I was parked there during a very busy 7 hour shopping period during normal business hours on ONE DAY. An overzealous towing company hired to tow vehicles AT THE SITE MANAGERS REQUEST decided to tow my vehicle without consulting with the site manager. This was verified by the commercial lot's management office ([redacted]), who told me "it looks like he beat us to it", meaning the vehicle was towed without consulting with the site manager or the property management. Stores in this shopping area are open until 10:00pm. My vehicle was towed at 5:00pm (why? I was still shopping!). The towing company claimed it towed my vehicle at 3:45, but it was actually towed at 5:00. Proof of this was provided to me by an unknown caller to my cell phone from a BJs employee alerting me that my car was being towed. Of course, 5:00 is too late to pick up the vehicle from the towing company, costing a $50 overnight parking fee in addition to the $150 tow fee -CASH ONLY. My car should never have been towed to begin with. As far as I know, there is no limit to the hours one can shop at a very large, busy commercial shopping center, and the first amendment to the constitution allows me to put whatever signs I wish to on my car. My car was only parked there for ONE DAY (albeit a long day- I like to shop!) contrary to what the towing company claims (another lie). This can also be verified by the BJs employee who called me. He noticed my vehicle because it was "newly parked in the area that day" - an area where others have parked for weeks to try and sell their cars. Also, NO signs in the area state that cars parked in that area with "For Sale" signs will be TOWED! Apparently, the tow truck driver can say and do whatever he feels like doing without recourse to make a buck. And the property owner must get a cut - they back him up without question whether right or wrong.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my $214 (CASH) back from the towing company - or property management (Urstadt Biddle Properties)

Review: I was parked in the [redacted] in [redacted] and when I came out my car was towed. I never left the plaza and they had no reason to tow my car. And basically bullied me into getting my car returned and charged me 80.00 and I feel that I was wronged in this event. I am disabled and they had no rite to take my car when I never left the plaza. They said if I wanted to get my car back I had to pay them and it was wrong. The driver said I could take them to court and have a long drawn out battle but I would never get my money back. I feel their practice of business is wrong and the disabled people are taken advantage ofDesired Settlement: I would like to get my money back and make people aware that this should not happen to anyone. And an appology would be nice thank you so much
