In regards to my experiences at tafel, it was made clear initially that I was the owner and driver of the vehicleMy father was gracious enough to pay the expenses at tafel purely because mercedes benz work as we know can get rather expensive and I am a recent college gradThe only thing that was asked was that one additional call be made to update him in addition to myself on the progresses when madeMy fiancée was told on the phone while I was at work that tafel did not know what was wrong with the vehicle 2-weeks before it was said to be "ready to pick up" and communication was lost The only reason that the car was taken is because the bill was already over two thousand dollars and communication was rather poor to trust the business any longerThe reason we took it to tafel originally is because we strongly believed that they would be best and most efficient at servicing the vehicle, which proved to be incorrectI was also told by my account rep *** that an oil change would be done on my car once the initial transmission issue was resolved to restore fluids lost, and that was never doneI called back after picking up the vehicle because once driving the car the check oil light immediately came onWhen questioned he stated he did believe it had been done , but it hadn'tI am extremely dissatisfied with their services

Tafel Motors does acknowledge receipt of the vehicle on 10/03/**We do understand also that the mechanical condition of the vehicle when received was very poorDue to this condition, extensive diagnosis involving multiple systems was necessary and approval was sought from the
driver/owner as the repairs progressedTafel Motors wants to clearly express that poor communications and lack of follow up in the progression of a repair with our clients is not an acceptable practice and we apologize for the experience the client depicts in his experienceWe do acknowledge that at times it appears that the driver and the owner are two different persons and possibly this situation added to some delays but our lack of communication is seen as lacking at bestThe vehicle was brought in for a transmission concern that was diagnosed and repaired as authorized by the clientWe do agree that there were numerous hours of diagnosis provide by Tafel to locate and pinpoint the root cause of the transmission concernIn addition, the vehicle has a check engine light concernAgain, additional diagnosis was required to pinpoint this problem which involved multiple componentsPresent were aftermarket spark plugs which one was found to be cracked along with defective plug wires for coil #Once these conditions were repaired and functioning properly, additional diagnosis pinpointed codes for osensors and potentially ineffective catalytic convertorsAt this time the owner decided to stop in the repair process and pick up the vehicleThe client's repair order speaks to the authorized diagnostic process, the repairs that were authorized and performed and the additional concerns that were noted and need to be correctedTafel Motors again apologizes for what is noted as poor communicationHowever, all diagnostic charges and subsequent repairs were authorized by the client prior to being performedUnfortunately, due to the condition of the vehicle as received by Tafel Motors, the Erequired (s) extensive repairs to restore the vehicle to a safe conditionAt this time Tafel Motors does not believe any refund of the authorized charges is due the clientWe hope the client either proceeds in fully repairing the vehicle or p*** *** ** ** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** **

The client first contacted our dealership to express interest in purchasing a vehicle in September. He originally worked
with a sales consultant who responded to each of his requests promptly; however, the customer asked to work with another associate because he felt the responses were not quick enough. Afterwards, he began working with a different sales consultant. He scheduled several appointments and would typically not show or not call to cancel. He visited the dealership on several occasions very close to our closing time without an appointment, and the expectation that he would require our staff to stay a few extra hours to accommodate his visit. On several occasions, he would drive vehicles on overnight test drives during this process to ensure he would select the appropriate vehicle.
Once he decided that he wanted to order the GLK350, he came into the dealership to place an order on September 27. At that time, he was informed that it can take days or more to order a vehicle. The vehicle arrived at the dealership in the middle of November. We called the customer on numerous occasions and left multiple messages informing him that the vehicle had arrived at the dealership, and he could now take delivery. The customer did not return any calls or messages until late December
He informed us that his wife was out of town, and he would have to get back to us on what day he could pick up the vehicle. He came into the dealership on December 30th to take delivery. Upon arriving at the dealership, he completed a credit application and was declined by the lender. The lender asked to receive a copy of his permanent residence status in order to approve the deal, because his social security card indicated that he was only authorized for work. He assured us that he could provide the necessary documentation, but we never heard back from the customer. We held the vehicle for a period of more than days in inventory for the customer. Ordinarily, we request that our clients take delivery within days of the vehicle arriving at the dealership. Our dealership has incurred a daily holding cost on this vehicle for each day it was unavailable for sale as we held it for the customer
Again we left numerous messages and sent email asking for a response, but never heard from him. On February 2nd, he asked to receive a refund on his deposit. We have asked him to come to the dealership on numerous occasions to discuss the matter, but we have not received a response. We explained to the customer that we need to have his credit card number to issue a refund, and he has not responded to our requests. Since the customer has declined to respond to us directly, we consider this matter closed

 i ve contact to them , tweet tafel motors ,tweet Mercedes benz email them, met sales manager but they denied my credit back   and again you are are judge by yourself by writting case close ,again they are doing same thing not even mentioning my money and making all kind of stories , because of this cannot concentrate on my work , just need my money back
