Review: I had a gym membership through [redacted]. I moved more than 35 miles from the gym and wished to cancel my service. I was advised that there would be a ** dollar cancellation fee in order to cancel services. I was not advised of this when signing my contract. Also when I signed the contract I was not advised of any details other than what the representative verbally told me leaving out the important details and I only signed an electronic box with a stylus no paper copies. I was told to contact Taft Financial Services and get the account cancelled. I then called Taft services. These individuals were very rude and unhelpful. I was told that I would be continuously billed even though I lived that far from the gym unless I submitted proof of my new address. I submitted my change of address form to them as they requested and now are telling me that it is not good enough to cancel services. They now want more than [redacted] dollars in order for them to stop billing me and cancel the services.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the services cancelled and to have the additional fees that were added to be removed. I am willing to pay the ** dollar fee for cancellation but not for 3 months of a service I did not use.
