This complaint was filed by a tenant in the the building. I have talked with the person in charge of the HOA, [redacted], and she is aware of the situation. The problem that [redacted] is referring to is not roof related at all. It has to do with whoever installed the gutters on the building....

That company install a diverter, and the diverter is failing. It was bent over when I went out to look at the problem a couple of weeks ago, and I moved it back up. With the heavy rains, it pushed the diverter back down again. They need to call their gutter company to fix this problem. Again there is no problem with the roof, and we do not touch the gutters when we do a re-roof.

I signed a contract in November and at that time they stated because it was a small house (1000 sq ft) it could be a "fill in" and I should not have to wait that long, provided we did not have steady rain. I did not hear from anyone again until mid January when Harry told me it would start on Monday and then someone else said it would start on Tuesday; needless to say they started on Tuesday and finished on Friday. The actual crew was good, no complaints there nor any complaints on the workmanship.
My complaint is entirely about the communication from the operations office - it is extremely poor. Fast forward two months post job completion (January 22) I received an additional bill from them via email (March 22) stating I owed 480 more dollars due to 96' of 1/6 sheathing. I understand that unforeseen materials can cause the price to increase but not once did anyone mention that the additional materials were needed during the job nor at the end of the job when I met with the owner and also the job foreman. Its only two months later, I receive a bill and like I said, the first bill received was March 22 and it is now April 5 and they are threatening me with a Mechanics Lien on the house.... thankfully we now have Yelp so others can be forewarned.
