TAG Construction

Review: [redacted], the owner of TAG Construction started a "week long" project at my home in October and refuses to complete it. He makes excuse after excuse and asks for money but never finishes the job. He plays a game of responding and saying he will come but either doesn't show, doesn't call or shows but leaves after about 2 hours of work and never returns and then the cycle starts all over again. He became rude and disrespectful after I told him that he would be paid the final installment once all work is complete and that I will call [redacted] directly to pay for any supplies. He also threatened to quit (not sure how you quit something you weren't doing anyway) and abandon (already has abandoned as far as I'm concerned) the job if I reported him. Further, the small amount of work he has done is not correct, I still have windows that are leaking somehow that need further repair even though he supposedly "fixed those". This man/company should not be allowed to perform construction services and I certainly do not ever want them on my properly again after being told "I don't know who you think you are" and after the proven track record of poor work and no shows. I am the consumer. I am the one paying him. I am the one who has been patiently waiting for months for him to complete a "week long" job. I deserve some respect, proper work product and should never have been threatened.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for any outstanding work that has been pre-paid (I would need to check my records) and for the work that was not completed properly and that I'll have to hire someone new to repair properly (roughly $500).
