Review: I purchased a 6 burner HypoTheory cooktop from Tagndrop after seeing a listing of it on Ebay. I purchased this cooktop three months in advance for a new home during the construction process. I purchased the cooktop in January, it was installed in April and we moved in in May when we attempted to use it and it had failed to work. Two of the six burners worked and I contacted Tagndrop immediately. They had told me they would purchase a warranty for me and pay for a technician to come out to repair the cooktop. They were confident the cooktop was damaged during the delivery process. They failed to do as promised and I had our gas company come out to inspect as well as hired a technician to evaluate/fix the cooktop. Both professionals agreed there was a manufacturing issue with the cook top as the 4 left burners do not reach the front controls. This could cot happen from damage as the bar that holds the burners is not long enough and the two working burners are even barely reaching with screws not tightened to allow it to work. The technician took pictures and I sent them to tagndrop to prove the problem is with the construction of the cooktop but they still refused to take responsibility for. They promised to pay for a warranty but the warranty company said they will not cover this because the cooktop never worked properly and it is still covered under manufacturers warranty They now refuse to respond and have not refunded any money for my technician as promised. My cooktop only has two functioning burners and Tagndrop has done nothing to honor their sale/product/promises. Their manager has insulted me a number of times.Desired Settlement: As I asked for immediately when learning the cooktop did not work properly, request a replacement as the cooktop would have to be "rigged" as the technician put it to get it to function as the main support for all burners is not of proper length/placement.

Review: ON September *, 2013 I ordered a HTRT366LP PRO STYLE LIQUID PROPANE 6 BURNER RANGE TOP via the phone ([redacted]) for the amount of $1295.00. The order number tag#-[redacted], was placed on our VISA card account by Mordox International Co DBA as Tag N' Drop. The range top was delivered by [redacted] on 9-**-13 and was left at our back door as we were not home at the time. When we got home and opened the carton (which did not appear damaged on the outside of the box), the range top was found to be severely damaged and deemed unusable because of the damage to the knobs and range housing. We contacted the seller that same day (9-*-13), and arranged for return pick up of the damaged merchandise. We were assured that a replacement would be sent out upon receipt of the damaged merchandise and the replacement range top would be double wrapped in bubble wrap to insure that damages could not occur for this second attempt. It was recommended by the seller that we open and inspect the second range top for damages while the [redacted] driver was present. If the second (replacement) unit was damaged, the seller instructed us to refuse the shipment on site and have the driver take the merchandise back with them immediately. The range top (first one), was picked up by [redacted] on 9-*-13.On September [redacted] the replacement range top was brought by [redacted]. We opened and inspected the carton in the presence of the [redacted] driver, and found the range top to be in damaged condition. (The carton was not double wrapped in bubble wrap and no additional precautions had been taken to protect the unit from damages). The delivery was subsequently refused and the [redacted] driver was advised to return the package to the sender. We contacted the seller via e-mail and told them what had transpired. We explained in the correspondence that we desired a complete refund to our credit account in the amount of $1295.00, as we were unable, after two tries to receive a range top that was not damaged. On 9-**-13 we received an e-mail from the seller that a refund had been initiated. On 10-*-13 a refund for $906.50 was posted to our VISA account. We contacted the seller and left a phone message explaining that we were not willing to settle for a partial refund as the merchandise we received was damaged and un-sellable and we should not responsible for a 30% restocking fee. We contacted our VISA representative and filed a dispute report for the $388.50 balance. On 11-*-13 the adjustment credit was posted to our VISA account, ($388.50). As far as we were concerned this situation had been settled and we considered the case closed. On 11-*-13 we received the enclosed letter from [redacted] ESQ threatening us to revoke the disputed restocking fee of $388.50 or action would be taken against us and Experian Credit Bureau. (See attachment for clarification). After receiving that e-mail, we spoke to a [redacted] on the phone on November [redacted]. He advised us that he would review our request to have the restocking fee waived, based upon our contention that the items were damaged and therefore would not be able to be resold. Hence no restocking fee. On Wednesday November **, 2013 I ([redacted]), spoke to a gentleman via telephone from Tag N' Drop in reference to the ongoing case. At that time he advised me that the range top did show signs of damage and in his opinion "It doesn't look like we are going to charge you a restocking fee". He asked me to call back sometime after Monday November [redacted], when his company should have a made their final decision in the case. Since the [redacted] of November I have made TWENTY plus attempts to contact Tag N' Drop via telephone at their ###-###-#### contact number. On several of those occasions I have left voice mails requesting that someone return my call in order to rectify the situation. I have also emailed the company twice over the past several days, again without response. As of the afternoon hours of November [redacted] they have blocked my attempts to call into their customer service line. From that time forward when calling the customer service number I receive a recording stating We can not accept calls from your calling area.Desired Settlement: If for some reason Tag N' Drop will not honor our request to have the restocking fee waived, we are prepared to pay the restocking fee. We do not wish our credit rating to be destroyed because of some oversight. Our only request is for them to send us a paper bill through the USPS mail. Upon receiving that bill, we will send the payment of $388.50 via first class certified mail return receipt, United States Postal money order. We can only hope our good faith of contacting the Mordox Corporation will enable us to put closure to this dispute.
