When we started the property they were told that a building permit had to be pulledFrom the get go they had a roofing contractor go over on a weekend and roof the house without a permitWhen I went in to apply for the permit I got lectured for doing work without permits and I told them that it
wasn't meI pulled the permit for the dumpster and applied for the remodel permitThe building department said no work could be completed till the permit was approved and the asbestos testing came back and was approvedWith the owner calling me non stop about getting work done I had guys there 2-days a week when the city asked us not to, just to try and keep him happyHe also wanted me to hire his friends to do work at the property and bring in a friend from *** to work for meI spoke with him on twice on 2/16/and told him the permit got approved and that I would have everyone there on Monday 2/20/He proceed to call me again on Friday 2/17/and we spoke twice and I let him know again that everyone would be there on Monday 2/20/All of my guys showed up on Monday the 20th as scheluded to fond out that he hired the contractor from next door to do the workOnce again the owner was having people do work without permitsThey are in breach of contract with meI told him numerous times from the beginning the city required permits and that no work could be done without permits and he insisted he didn't care that the city wanted permitsAs for his claim that I owe him for having to hire an engineer and architect that was a requirement by the cityThere is nothing due back to themI paid for labor on the work that had been done, dumpster, dumpster permit, asbestos testing and all my time

[redacted]We met with you about Jan.30th 2017. You assured us you would get right on the remodel job.  We gave you a $10,000. deposit check on 2-1-17. To this day we have no permits to start work. You never have gotten them.3 weeks after we gave you the deposit we hired another contractor. You had tore down 3 wall and pulled the carpeting all with no permits.  We find out on 2-24-17 that those walls were all load bearing.  Had to hire engineer & architect plus purchase expensive construction materials and extra labor to get it supported again.  I have everything documented to go to court in [redacted] County if necessary.  Finally we got started with the proper  permits on 3-7 2017We see you started another LLC in the name of [redacted] with the owner name of [redacted] not your name of [redacted] that's because other are after [redacted] and your name [redacted].You return our 10,000. dollars and we will not take You and [redacted] to court in [redacted] County. If we do go to court it will be all the money we have spent not just $10,000.  If no response by 4-14-2017 we will be filing. You know how to get a hold of us.
