Tahoe Emergency Physicians

I received treatment by Dr. [redacted] with Tahoe Emergency Physicians, in [redacted] Health ER in South Lake Tahoe, CA on December 3, 2014. My mom called Tahoe Emergency Physicians at phone number provided on their bill and gave them my medical insurance information, and the claim was denied by my insurance; therefore, it was submitted to a 3rd party insurance administrator, [redacted], the governing insurance entity for the [redacted] junior hockey sports affiliate I was out in Lake Tahoe playing junior ice hockey for. [redacted] submitted full payment to Tahoe Emergency Physicians and also [redacted] Health for my ER visit. [redacted] Health is showing a $0.00 balance, and I am still receiving a full bill, no payment posted, for my treatment by Tahoe Emergency Physicians. [redacted] emailed my mom a copy (front and back) showing that the $580.00 check (account payment in full) had been received and deposited by Tahoe Emergency Physicians on April 7, 2015. My mom phoned the phone number on the bill twice, speaking to two different people, one by the name of "[redacted]" advising them of the fact that this check had been deposited. She was told about some off -the-wall way these payments were processed and that they were received in one place, deposited elsewhere, and the billing company had to wait and receive statement from depositor that account had been paid. [redacted] proceeded to tell my mom that if she could get the appropriate check# from [redacted] and date it was deposited and call this billing company back with that information then they would show a $0.00 balance on my account. My mom did this and called the phone number on the bill back the next day, April 29, 2014, and got some very rude gentleman on the phone who totally contradicted everything she was told on April 28 by [redacted] and he proceeded to tell my mom that they would not accept her word for anything and she would have to fax a copy of the check, which my mom did and I received a bill for $580.00 today.Desired SettlementI want my all account credited for the full $580.00 that has been sent to them from [redacted] and to stop receiving harassment from this group for payment that they have already received, proof of which they have been given on multiple occasions. They are harassing me and them trying to collect money they have already received is extortion and other patients need to know the business practices of this physician's group. I hope to not get another bill from this company!
