Tahoe Worldwide Travel Reviews (6)

I have had several documented instances of this company not delivering what they promised. Not only did they not deliver as promised, but there is no way to reach them as the phone number on this site (the only one published) answers with something like, Hello, you have reached Tahoe Worldwide Travel, all of our agents are busy so please leave a name and number and we will get back to you. Then the recording comes on and says the mailbox is full, goodbye. So you cannot leave anything on the answering machine. I have been calling this number for months and it still says this. You also cannot send anything to them as their address is unknown -RED flag. I cannot complain to anyone because you cannot reach anyone.Desired SettlementI want all my money back. I am ashamed to say how much I gave them, but I am telling the Secretary of State and will soon tell the Attorney General.

We went to a presentation with Tahoe Worldwide Travel. Well we listen to it all, then we talked to a Lady. We got into it paid $1995.00 so we could join the resort , said its not a timeshare. We would get good prices on vacation spots!!! Well we never got to use it at all!! Tahoe went out of business, when I called ,I had a hard time to get any one to answer!!! So I called the lady ,we bought from. She said it doesn't change anything cause we are with [redacted] Resorts!! So I called them and they said I don't have an account there!!! They said I am secondary on the account, which has the name of the lady , we bought from Tahoe, but I can't do anything with the account !!! I said My boyfriend & I bought into it & we paid for it, not her!!!! But now I can't get anyone to find out what I have to do!!! Do I get a lawyer?? Any suggestion?? Tahoe won't get back with me , I have left messages, and emails , NO RESPONSE!!!! What a rip of!Product_Or_Service: Membership ServicesAccount_Number: Didn't send me one aDesired SettlementI either want my money back, or [redacted] Resorts to call me or email me ASAP . Thanks

Extreme difficulty in verifying services; no responsiveness from the company; no avenues to leave messages as voicemail is continually full. Inability to access the services. We have attempted to log in to use the service we signed up for, but are continually advised we are not members. Originally signed up back in July of 2014, and the company had no problem taking initial payment. Since we were unable to access the service through online options, we attempted to reach the company via phone, but all the numbers are either disconnected, no longer in service, or we are advised to leave a message and they will get back to us. Problem is the voicemail is always full and unable to take new messages. It seems hard to believe that the voice mail box is continually full regardless of the time of day or night we call. It must be full of unhappy clients such as ourselves. I can not imagine that it is full from people wanting to become members of this company. It is not even easy to try and reach this company via mail as they have address for Nevada, but one of the contact numbers on the brochure is for Mexico?? As a retired military veteran, I can assure you I have been telling everyone NOT to utilize this company, and any of its subsidiaries. After multiple attempts to reach the company through their website, phones, etc., we are frustrated and no longer wish to be members.Desired SettlementFull refund of $1995.00 either credited back to our credit card or mailed to us in the form of a Cashier's Check. Do not want a company check as I am not sure this is actually a valid company.

We paid a License Agreement fee then cancelled it the next day with confirmed receipt of cancellation by Tahoe but are waiting over 70days for refund! We signed the Reservation Agreement on Oct 4, 2014 and then using the Tahoe form we cancelled the agreement the next day. I have both faxed confirmation and overnight delivery confirmation from [redacted] Tracking of the Tahoe cancellation form being received Oct 7 prior to the cutoff date of Oct 8. I also met personally on Oct 5 with [redacted] /[redacted] who assured steps to cancel. Item 4 of the agreement states they will refund all monies within 10 days. It has been 70 days and no refund. Their voice mailbox remains full and won't accept my name or contact information Desired Settlement A full refund of $5,894.00Next step is me contacting the Attorney General.

On 9/27/2014, my husband [redacted] and I entered into an agreement with Tahoe Worldwide Travel for travel services, including reservation services and a rewards program. We paid a $199 nonrefundable processing fee and $1,995 for 10 years of service. At the time we were provided notice that we could cancel in 3 business days and receive a refund in 10 business days from the date of cancellation. On 9/29/2014, we emailed and mailed by certified mail our notice of cancellation. Additionally, we called Tahoe to notify them verbally of the cancellation and they confirmed that they had received the email and would process the cancellation. Several days later, we received a call from Tahoe asking us to reconsider, but we indicated that we still wanted to cancel. On 10/6/2014, we received an email from [redacted], notifying us that they were processing our cancellation and were working to expedite our refund. I sent follow-up email on 10/17 and 11/01 since we had still not received a refund. We have not received any further response since the email of 10/6. It has been over 25 business days and we have yet to receive our refund. Our complaint is that they did not provide a timely refund as they indicated initially. We also have concerns about the validity of the service provided since we believe that we can obtain similar prices for travel services on the Internet ourselves without using their services, which is why we have opted to cancel. Additionally, I have had difficulty getting through on their customer service line.Product_Or_Service: membership in travel serviceAccount_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementWe would like the refund of $1,995.00 credited to the credit card we used or mailed to us immediately.

My husband and I were foolish enough to fall for the scam and joined the Tahoe World Wide Travel program in Lake Tahoe, CA May 2014. All the company offers is a glorified travel service in which I can book myself. Whenever you want to call the customer service line (858) 622-2904, the mailbox is ALWAYS full. If you want to book anything, you are calling a call center in Central America or California. I also noticed that the initial Membership Services License Agreement fee is always a different cost to the consumer depending on how well you can negotiate the fee. Unfortunately the monies we paid could of given us a nice vacation. I would not recommend anyone sign up for this service. I only wish we would of done due diligence and investigated further during the 3 day cancellation period. ","neg-1
