Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to the allegations made by [redacted] *** Miss [redacted] accounting of the situation is slightly different than how I recall events happening The first person she spoke with was a receptionist at my facility, he said something to the effect of "I don't think it was your dogs fault, but the owner or manager will contact you when they have a chance to review the situation." Later that same day my Manager who is female spoke with Miss [redacted] and explained to her that in order to figure out who was at fault she wanted to review the security footage of the event with myself (the owner) The next morning I came to work to find that Miss [redacted] had already dropped her dog back off at my facility, I proceeded to review the security footage and found that Miss ***s dog was clearly the aggressor in the incident The attack upon the other dog sparked the curiosity of several other dogs resulting in a grouping of around dogs clustered around Miss ***s dog and the dog her dog had pinned to the floor My pack leaders quickly responded to the situation and separated the dogs It was then that they found Miss ***s dog had a head wound Due to the amount of dogs clustered around the incident it is not clear which dog is responsible for biting Miss ***s dog Since her dog was the aggressor in the situation I informed her that she is responsible for the vet bill I might also add she signed paperwork which clearly states the risks of bringing your dog to a doggy daycare and according to the signed paperwork she also understands that ultimately she is responsible for her dog She was unhappy with my explanation and decided to pick her dog up and bring him home The next day I received another call from her in which she demanded to see the video of the incident I apologized to her for the confusion created when my staff first explained the incidents procedure and informed her that I was unable to show her the video for a number of reasons, some of which include that my other customers have a right to privacy in addition to the franchise policy which does not allow for personal viewing of security footage by customers Sincerely

effect of  "I don't think it was your dogs fault, but the owner or manager will contact you when they have a chance to review the situation."  Later that same day my Manager who is female spoke with Miss [redacted] and explained to her that in order to figure out who was at fault she wanted to review the security footage of the event with myself (the owner).  The next morning I came to work to find that Miss [redacted] had already dropped her dog back off at my facility,  I proceeded to review the security footage and found that Miss [redacted]s dog was clearly the aggressor in the incident.  The attack upon the other dog sparked the curiosity of several other dogs resulting in a grouping of around 10 dogs clustered around Miss [redacted]s dog and the dog her dog had pinned to the floor.  My pack leaders quickly responded to the situation and separated the dogs.  It was then that they found Miss [redacted]s dog had a head wound.  Due to the amount of dogs clustered around the incident it is not clear which dog is responsible for biting Miss [redacted]s dog.  Since her dog was the aggressor in the situation I informed her that she is responsible for the vet bill.  I might also add she signed paperwork which clearly states the risks of bringing your dog to a doggy daycare and according to the signed paperwork she also understands that ultimately she is responsible for her dog.  She was unhappy with my explanation and decided to pick her dog up and bring him home.  The next day I received another call from her in which she demanded to see the video of the incident.  I apologized to her for the confusion created when my staff first explained the incidents procedure and informed her that I was unable to show her the video for a number of reasons, some of which include that my other customers have a right to privacy in addition to the franchise policy which does not allow for personal viewing of security footage by customers. Sincerely
