Review: I boarded my dogs for two days & two nights, Thur. thru Sat. morning at Tailwaggers. When I picked them up early Sat. morning, I asked if there were any issues, they said no, all was fine. Both dogs were exhausted but my black lab seemed uncomfortable & continued favoring his paws; not wanting to walk or move. Upon inspection, the inside of his paws were raw with exposed bloody areas and pussy blisters. He was in pain. I called on Sunday and talked to Tiara who replied with a sorry & offered free daycare coupons but no explanation as to why this had been allowed to happen. I told her he would need to see the vet because of the severity of his paws and she told to me call back after seeing my vet & speak to Kristin, the owner. After speaking with my vet, getting antibiotics for infection & instructions on cleaning & care, I called again on Tuesday. At first Kristin said that it was my dogs fault and continued telling me that "They(Staff)did nothing wrong" & that they checked his paws Friday night & they were only red not raw with blisters and he was running around the next day. He's a dog, they will do that, especially to get away from other dogs; which they have far to many of there. 40 dogs were being boarded and they also had a lot of daycare drop-offs. To many for proper care. I asked why they didn't put my dog in his kennel so that his paws would not get worse?. No answer. She just repeatedly kept stating "We did nothing wrong". She would not take any responsibility for the improper care of my dog & the pain he was in from it. The fact that she continued speaking over me when I tried to say something with the same response over & over, "We did nothing wrong" shows me that she has no integrity or willingness to take responsibility for the poor care of my pets. This business is clearly unable to properly care for that many dogs and I am concerned for the pets yet currently in their care.Desired Settlement: Half of the boarding fee = $65.10Antibiotics = $12.85 Total Refund = $77.95
