Review: I went Boriken Neighborhood health center and was referred to this pharmacy on the corner. [redacted] was my medication. The doctor knew I was very grave and a time frame of 3PM was given. I was very ill and called again at 4pm for the delivery on door-to-door had been promised. Then, at 4pm I was informed it would take 15 more minutes to bring me the medicine.I had seen the medicine before and even though I saw it, the pharmacist assistant informed that the medicine was not available. Now, it is almost the time and no one has appeared. Taino Pharmacy had informed me that my boyfriend was going to be charged 126.00 and I asked for a generic medicine for him and the pharmacy called the PCP and the pcp informed they could not accept a change of medicine. it is both negligent and life-threatening what they have done. In another note, my boyfriend is unemployed, ( I am not and have insurance) I know he is Medicaid elegible and a outraged at how inconsiderate both the pharmacist and the doctors where and how the delivery system here was given. It is now 4:15 PM. And, as I write this no one has comeDesired Settlement: I ask for an official apology to my boyfriend as no other payment options were made and for time frame. I am seeking a a penalty be placed by the state to this business.
