It was most definitely mentioned to the desk clerk that I did not accept the $credit and he refused to get the manager stating she was "in a meeting" and he printed out the receipt and handed to me anyway and I then informed him that I would dispute it with Revdex.comAlso, I checked out early (this was not at time of checkout), without showering, due to the bugs in the bathroomHad I seen them earlier, I would have certainly shortened my stay there; however, I was in NYC for business and was hardly even in the room

I am disputing an overcharge of $charged by Hotel PennsylvaniaThe hotel recently responded: "MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: The guest has already been credited back for nightsThis charge back was done on 6/*" There may be a problem with hotel bookkeepingPerhaps it was their intent to refund the disputed $but it was not credited to my accountI was charged for three nights, credited back for nights and then rebilled for nights I am attaching my Chase credit card statements showing all Hotel Pennsylvania transactions: My June * credit card statement showing an initial charge of $on May **, (page 1) The June * statement showing credit of $made by Chase Customer Services in response to my complaint of an overcharge (page 1) My August *, statement showing a $rebilled charge by Hotel Pennsylvania (page 2) Page shows details of the rebilled charge If Hotel Pennsylvania wishes to credit me for the two cancelled nights but does not have my correct credit card information, I will be happy to provide necessary details Thank you for your assistance Respectfully, *** *** ###-###-####

I would like to have my 778.00 back.  I really want to bring my granddaughters to New York.  I heard nice things about Hotel Penn but when I booked my room, I was never told the entire amount would be taken right out of my checking account which caused me a problem paying my...

rent.  Again, all I want is my money returned now and not in 5-10 days.  Thank you so much.

As previously stated this reservation for [redacted] 4/**-/4/** was booked through a 3rd party website. The contractual agreement between the guest and the agent [redacted] states it is non refundable and non cancellable. The Pennsylvania Hotel would not agree to canceling a reservation of this kind without at the very least consulting [redacted]. Usually the only action that would allow to cancel is the proof of an immediate death in the family or an Act of God. We apologize but we stand firm with our decision which is legal and binding by the contract agreement. I have attached a screen shot of our reservation that shows in the upper right hand corner the booking agent.

I finally received a $335.72 refund from Hotel Pennsylvania for their incorrect charge. It took five months and ongoing assistance from Chase customer service, NYC Revdex.com and [redacted].  I have never stayed in such a run-down hotel or experienced such awful service. It was very unfortunate that we had booked a room there.

Guest original letter states they stayed in July when that is clearly not the case. Guest reservation was for 2 nights in June in which the guest checked into room [redacted] with 2 other guests and remained there throughout stay. Upon checking the guests reservation there are no notes to corroborate the...

guests claim and if such were the case we would have gladly moved them to another. Also the states the "incident" occurred on 1 night so why if this were true would she feel she was entitled to a full refund. Based on the information or lack of we apologize but will not be offering any compensation at this time.
