Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Ms***, as I stated on the phone, I have no reason to suspect that this guy will be accountable for his work. I just want to make sure that others' are aware of his business practice. My ultimate goal is to have him fix the work that he performed. Only he is responsible for his work -- he can not state that I was ever happy with the outcome, no matter what he states in his blustery response. *** was involved initially and I was never satisfied with any of the work done on my motor home. I have plenty of written evidence to that point both with Mr *** and this granite guy who is a contractor -- *** as far as I know does not have a contractor's license and/ or a business license as far as I can tell. The granite guy does. I will repeat and give evidence to the following - all my additions or evidence that I can provide are in parenthesis:The counters were removed in late April, and the job was ostensibly completed on July 1, The initial promisefrom the contractor was a two-week turn around As a result of the delay, this caused us to cancel vacation plans and other events where we use the coach. The delay was blamed initially on the fact that the insert covers for the sink and range had to be water jetted for an exact fit(I have many written texts messages to verify this) ***, the owner of the company then called me on June 26, and explained to me that anadditional slab had to be ordered from Vietnam and that they would not be able to do anything until receiving the material from the port ( I have phone records demonstrating that he called me) He promised at that time to complete the project on the following MondayHe was apologeticand said he would even throw in another slab for a TV cabinet that we were also having installed When called on Monday to find out status (again phone message record), he was agitated with me that he hadto go to where the coach was located (where other remodel work was being completed and where he did removal and installation of the counters) Itold him that I would bring the coach to him (I have a text message from him giving me his address) He kept it overnight as he did not have time to work on it on Monday When he called me on Tuesdayand said the work was complete and I could pick up the coach, I then went to pick up the coach He later called me back and said I owed him an additional $for the extra slab for the TV cabinet. I showed up on the afternoon of Tuesday to retrieve the coach and found that the extra slab had not been cut as we discussed and that the inserts were notcut by a water jet machine (the owner's son stated that they were not water jetted -- I have written communication stated that the water jetting was the reason for the delay) as they did not fit correctly, had gaps, the stove top insert does not sit level, and were tootight in other places In addition, I discovered that the stove top range had not been centered in the installation and amateurishly trimmed. It is not centered either on the cabinet or under the microwave as the removed counter was (his son told me that they knew about at the time but had already cut the counter) In addition the fold up side counter does not come up level and leans precariously to one side -- it is unusable He hadleft the shop before I came to pick up the coach and would not answer the phone when I attempted to call him (I have phone records and text messages verifying this interaction)On July 24th -- (this was within the days that he discusses), I contacted him to offer him an opportunity to replace the slaband correct the work before I proceeded to a legal solution He did not respond to my efforts to reach out (He later called me after he found that I had complained to Revdex.com, called L&I, and Angie's List. He even at one time offered to make some adjustments to the work that he did, but never took accountability for his work) It is my belief that the work is sopoor and shabby, he has decreased the value of my motor coach substantiallyContractors and private individuals who need work done shouldstay clear of this guy The work was performed at the providers location and at a shop in Woodland, WA I would either/or be willing to share photos or show in person. His comment about "this guy is the kind of person my father told me to watch our for" is correct -- as a consumer and a customer, I demand that work I pay for is of high quality as promised. We will also include this *** guy in our litigation attempts to recover losses and interestingly enough, the granite guy had nothing but bad to say about *** on the phone and even stated the guy owed him $2,000. It is interesting that they are good buddies now:) My cause has always been to have the work corrected -- I have never been happy with the work. I will be glad to show anyone who wants to look at the work and I will provide written documentation of interactions with the parties involved. I suspect that there is nothing that Revdex.com can do -- buyer beware!!! All he has to do is correct the work that he did and all is good. Who has ever heard of a business owner that wants poor examples of his work out there - next step is his bonding company.Sincerely and thanks for your time,Dr*** *** (notice that my last name is spelled with an "A".)Sincerely,*** ***

I was referred to Take Us For Granite by a local fabricator Initially, I was promised a bargain deal with the work to be completed in a week However, I was continually put off and rescheduled multiple times for 1/weeks After weeks of missed appointments, I was told by Don's, clearly overwhelmed, son that he had to do everyone's job there and he didn't have time to continue to take my calls and respond to me about rescheduling Since they were "too busy" for my job, I instructed them to return the granite slab to the fabricator so I could hire another more reliable company to complete the work While they agreed to return the slab to the fabricator or another installer of my choice, they then asked me to pay for their time Don's son called yelling profanities at me I replied with two words of my own and hung up Then Don, himself, contacted me expressing his frustrations Clearly these two do not work as a team Long story short, this business lacks in all areas of professionalism I have no idea the quality of work as they never made it to the job site While they offered a bargain of a price, it's not a bargain if they don't complete the work I see there are multiple poor reviews Next time I will do my research first

Mr [redacted] was not our consumer. We were asked to this job by a contractor named [redacted]. Mr [redacted] informed us that owner loved our work and that had taken delivery and was given final payment. We never met mr [redacted] until over a month after job was done. All our instructions came from mr...

[redacted]. Then after he took delivery he contacted us to do an additional piece for his Rv. We obliged and he offered to give us 400.00 for our time. He asked us to install which we could as all the cabinetry was not in to support the top. Mr [redacted] the told us he was having a new cabinet installed underneath. So he left with a smile on his face. Then he called about one month later and said he was sueing me because his contractor who asked us to do this job did not own anything or even a window to throw it out of. He then commented that I had been in business for more then 10 years so he would have better chance of collecting this FROM US. From my understanding, there was many issues with the main contractor. Bottom line is my contract was with Mr [redacted] not  with Mr [redacted]. We have no agreement or contract with Mr [redacted]. Further, I told him to go the bia and Revdex.com to try and get Mr [redacted] to resond to his issues. But he would not stop screaming and cursing. Further I have already reached out to the bia and spoke with their legal dept. they told me to handle this way as mr [redacted] is not our consumer. Again we had no contract with him. Just with mr [redacted]. Inhave reached out to mr [redacted] with no luck. I value my reputation but this gentleman has verbally abused us and has no abilty to act or think rationally. Again, Mr [redacted] is not our consumer. We did not give him bid proposal scope work or contract. This contract was with [redacted]. His number [redacted].

Attached is a check written to and cashed by Take us for Granite.  [redacted] is not a contractor, nor does he have a business associated with contracting.  As simple search of records through L&I and the state revenue department will validate this statement.  Take us for Granite does have a contractor's license and bond to protect the consumer.  That is the purpose of the license and bond.  I am sure that he does lots of work in houses and other businesses and he should be held accountable for the quality of work -- otherwise the consumer -- the end user, will always get the short end of the stick.  I would like to see any evidence that Take us for Granite has a contract with [redacted] -- again it will prove my point.  Most of what he states in his response is either a partial truth, or outright lie.

The quality of work that he did for me was very amateurish and not something the Revdex.com wants to support.  Other consumers deserve to know this.  If he had integrity, we would not be in this place -- I offered him and opportunity to fix the job and/or product.  He obviously chose not to.

Best Regards,

Dr. [redacted]. [redacted]

Again!, we had no contract or interaction with mr [redacted]. We received all instruction from [redacted]. From our understanding mr [redacted] sought mr [redacted] out so he would get a better price. We gave mr [redacted] a contract and he signed it. After mr [redacted] took final delivery and wrote final payment on his check to mr [redacted] he then called us to see if we had any leftover pieces to an area. After getting his pieces which offered for free I left the shop. Upon my return to the shop he had left a check for 400.00 which I mentioned in my previous comments. We did not ask for this payment or provide him with an invoice. No agreement / contract or even hand shake. We have several text messages from [redacted] that mr [redacted] loved everything and even wrote him check for final payment. I am having the original contractor Revdex.com and discuss. Also, his comments about me calling and asking for additional 400.00 is a lie. We did not buy and extra slab the material was in our shop. We never invoiced him or anything. He just left this check. Can he produce any back up to this payment of 400.00. He left this knowingly to try put us the hook. He is the kind of guy that would do this based on what we have seen. fyi, we still have not been paid on this job. we are having mr [redacted] call Amanda at Revdex.com to discuss this matter as it is between he and mr [redacted]. If he had any issues why would he not raise them to us once he came to our shop with the finished project. He never made a complaint only praise for the work we had done to that point. And if he had any issues why would he leave with the Rv and leave us an unsolicited check which no invoice was presented. This goes hand in hand with his statement that he can get nothing from contractor so he will come after us.. Please keep in mind that 21 days had past since he left with coach and then started to come after us... This guy is the kind of person my father always told me watch out for. If I would have met this person or provided him with a proposal I would have never accepted this job. But I have met mr [redacted] before that is the only reason I did the job to begin with. My business is referral based business that does not advertise or solicit business. Strictly referral. I will have mr [redacted] call today.
