Review: 10/**/13 -- I emailed a Talas Company employee (hereafter called *) saying that I intended to order an item that * had recommended. Note that in this message and at no future time, did I ever give * my credit card information.10/**/13 -- I ordered the item on Talas' secure website using my credit card.10/14/13 -- I received the item.10/**/13 -- Unbeknownst to me, * ordered a same item shipped to me, with unauthorized use of my credit card. The only way * could have known my credit card information was by looking up Talas' record of my earlier website order, at which point * should have seen that I had already placed a website order for that item. 10/**/13 -- I received a second item.10/**/13 -- I emailed * to report the delivery of the second item and requested instructions for returning it and getting a refund. * claimed that the statement in my email message of 10/**/13 that I intended to order the item was [redacted] authorization to place an order for me. (But please note that I never gave * my credit card information, so what made * think I wanted to place my order through *?) * said instructions on returning the duplicate item and getting a refund would be sent to me.10/**/13 -- I received no further response from Talas, so I emailed * again with a request for information on how to return the unwanted and unordered duplicate item.11/**/13 -- As of today, still no response, so I am requesting help from Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Talas Company made a mistake by erroneously duplicating my order and using my credit card information without my authorization.I would like a refund for the unauthorized order as follows:Price of unwanted item: $10.75Shipping unwanted item to me: $10.50Shipping unwanted item back to Talas Company: TBDI have already paid my credit card company $21.25 to cover this duplicated order.
