Larry was referred by a co-worker and it was the best recommendation! We had a first floor remodel off flooring, bath and other modifications. His team was amazing. He promised a quick remodel and followed through. The quality of the work was the best. I appreciated the attention to detail, flexibility and advice we received. When we have more remodeling to be done he is the only one we will call. Top Notch!

Larry and his team were introduced to me by my daughter. He has now completed an extensive home remodel for me and my husband! He will work with you to make the most of your home -- Larry and Troy have a good eye for helping maximize the spaces and designing what you want. Larry also owns his own cabinet shop/showroom which is a huge benefit when remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. Larry wants to have satisfied customers who love the end result of the project. Larry and his crew were amazing! From the first consult on our master bath remodel, where ideas were exchanged through the completion of the project, they were so professional, knowledgable, caring and very pleasant to deal with. Larry is a master of organization! He directed us on each step we needed to do, ie. picking out the tub, fixtures, shower doors, mirrors etc. As we did each task, he followed up with the vendor to make sure everything was delivered as needed. The actual demo mess was kept to a minimum and at the end of each day all was cleaned up. The whole project was completed in less than a month. We would highly recommend this company!

This was my 2nd experience with Larry at Talavera and this time around he remodeled a guest bath, master bath, and master bedroom. Where do I begin....Larry is a man with Midwest integrity. He’s not out to upcharge, cheat, cut corners, or give you any of that profit focused “flipper” garbage. Larry will guide you on smart choices and advise you from picking out over priced finishes that provide no value. Larry is professional, his crew is respectful and accommodating, he has strong connections across the valley to help with discounts on everything from faucets to tile. Not common in this industry but Larry has great design sense and has meaningful input on space layout. Above all they do quality work which is almost impossible to find in Arizona.

I want to preface my review by sharing the extent of thought and evaluation that was made prior to making the decision to hire Talavera Custom. We looked through hundreds of contractor web pages and reviews on Google, Houzz, and other online media sources. We looked at statements of qualifications, and pictures of completed projects. We talked to a hand full of Design/ Build firms and General Contractors. After careful review, we decided to partner with Talavera Custom to complete an entire home renovation. It was a decision we couldn’t be happier with. Larry and the Talavera team (most of which have been with Talavera for years) impressed us in so many ways. Their communication is terrific. They are always responsive, answering phone calls and texts immediately, and making themselves available on weekends anytime it is necessary. They are consultative. Many General Contractors know how to follow plans and blueprints, but don’t have a design sense, or confidence to share their opinion when it differs from the direction they are given. Talavera is different. Larry and his team listen, but also give direction and expertise that lends to great collaborative decision making. Larry met us at tile shops and appliance & fixture stores, helping explain the pros and cons of different materials and finishes. It was very helpful. They are honest and trustworthy. They gave us a realistic estimate and thoroughly explained anytime there was a hurdle or challenge during the project, collaborating with us to find a solution. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is awesome. They have a background in carpentry and cabinet making, so they bring an extreme sense of pride in the quality of their work. They handcrafted custom cabinets, mantle, range hood, and open shelving. They worked with us to pick the perfect color paint to assure flow from room to room throughout our house, and they even spent time sorting every floorboard they installed for us to assure even color distribution. Lastly, it was apparent that they care about the experience they provide throughout the course of a project because they consistently asked for feedback, and made sure they were always meeting our expectations. They even made gestures to show they appreciated our business by building us an eye catching dry bar as a surprise gift. I’d recommend Talavera Custom to anyone looking for a great experience renovating or remodeling their home.

This August was the 2nd time I used Talavera to remove the old ugly popcorn off my ceilings, I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly Larry and his crew were. They vacuumed every day before they left, were on time and stayed within his estimate regarding the cost of their work. I would recommend them to friends, family and others who need remodeling or any work done on their home.

Larry and his team have helped us with several projects around the house and everything has turned out great! Larry is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and detail-oriented. His team is always friendly and hard working. We have enjoyed working with them every step of the way, and we will continue using and recommending Talavera for future home improvement projects.

we used Talavera Custom for our masterbath remodel and for replacing all of the countertops in our condo. Larry and his staff were very professional and courteous; they kept us informed on the progress of the project and we are thrilled with the end result. Everything looks great!
