I recently had to fly out of the country with my father to help him bury his grandfatherMy flight left New York at pm on Thursday evening March *** and arrived in Israel at 2:pm on Friday afternoon at which point we had to coordinate with family and relatives, get from the airport to the cemetery, have the funeral services and still make it to our final destination before the sundown when the sabbath began which was about 6:pmI had rented a cell phone for travel abroad from this company, Talk N Save for the purpose of having a phone when I landedWe were returning back home Sunday evening April ***When we landed I put in their SIM card but it did not workThere was no point in calling them to tell them I had a problem as by the time they could help me I really didn't need the phone anymore and I had paid for a product which did not work when I needed it mostI reached out to the company to ask for a refund and they first said on April 6th, that since I had not contacted them telling them there was an issue at the time it happened, they cannot refund mei explained I was only there for days and needed the phone right when I landed as we were there for a funeral and they then responded that they would check with their supervisorThey then responded that they would issue the full refund but they only issue refunds at the beginning of the following billing cycle, and I would have to wait until the beginning of May when their next bills are generatedHow is it fair and legal for a company to debit my money out of my account immediately when I purchase as service/product but they can take a month to return my money when their product/service did not work as promised??
These people are extremely rude. They have horrible customer service. im not one to wrote these complaints, but I was so insulted by the way I was treated I resorted to this. Horrible business, dont use them.
