We are sorry our response is later than the days you requested The mailbox used gets very little mail,we usually check more often, but did not for the holidays.On December 24th, [redacted] purchased a Iphone 5cfor $135.00On December 26th, [redacted] returned the Iphone 5c because they wanted the better 5sThey paid an additional $and return the 5cWe asked them as we do with all our customers if they needed helping setting up the phoneWe prefer our customers leave with fully functioning devicesThey told us they were technically competent, and would not need any help.They called us at pm the evening of the 26th and told us they had installed something from Itunes that was causing and issue with the phoneThey had reset the phone and it was stuck in recoveryWe told them to bring the phone in so we could help.On December 27th they came into the store and told us they had repeatedly reset the phone during recoveryThis is a known software issue with IphonesOnly Apple has the ability to fix their reset issue.Our store policy and receipts say all sales are finalThe phone was working when we sold it to themResetting the phone during install/recovery or entering the password into Itunes incorrectly can stick a phone in recovery.Please let me know if you require more information or copies of receiptsAnita P [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did NOT tell her I did ANYTHING at home to this phone? I called back the night of 12/to tell store that the phone will not got past screen that says "plug into iTunes" when we powered on after being told to wait tell 30% before even powering on? Man who answered said to bring back to have them look at, which I did I have been to the Apple Store in Eugene Oregon as owner has suggested? Apple store can NOT fix phone? They were able to tell me the provider (Cricket) and that they can see it is locked by Cricket? I went to Cricket store and have been told by them that it is LOCKED and will not be unlocked due to prior owner not paying on contract they had? THEY WILL NOT UNLOCK PHONE!! ? I'm working with Crickets corporate office to get letter proving this.? ? She didn't just rob me, but she robbed my year old son of his Christmas gift? How would she feel if her son (who was there the night I bought the phone) was robed of his Christmas money by a store at the MallI expect this treatment form Craigslist, not at the Gateway Mall I will one more time, asked that the store owner do what is right? Please refund our $or replace this GARBAGE PHONE phone you sold us with another working/unlocked iphone 5s If not resolved, I will be posting my experience on ALL social media sites, Shoppes at Gateway website, any site that I can rate this company for its dishonest- shady businessI am also looking into filing a small claims against owner of store Sincerely, [redacted] ***

they wanted the better 5s. They paid an additional $40.00 and return the 5c. We asked them as we do with all our customers if they needed helping setting up the phone. We prefer our customers leave with fully functioning devices. They told us they were technically competent, and would not need any help.They called us at 8 pm the evening of the 26th and told us they had installed something from Itunes that was causing and issue with the phone. They had reset the phone and it was stuck in recovery. We told them to bring the phone in so we could help.On December 27th they came into the store and told us they had repeatedly reset the phone during recovery. This is a known software issue with Iphones. Only Apple has the ability to fix their reset issue.Our store policy and receipts say all sales are final. The phone was working when we sold it to them.
