I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The pictures sent by MrPratt show the sod that lived and is viable He did not include a photo of the one foot square area of sod that was dead from the onset That area remains nonviable
If watering were an issue, why did all of the other sodded areas grow and do well? The entire lawn received the same amount of rain and sprinkler water Only one small area did not thrive, because despite what MrPratt claims, that piece of sod was not viable when placed in my yard I expect to have him resod that area with a viable piece of sod

Below please find our account of our relationship with Dr. [redacted]:
· May 14th, 2014 via e-mail an agreement was reached contracting our services for spot sod work to be done at Dr. [redacted]'s residence ([redacted]...

· May 28th, 2014 a signed contract was returned to our office for the specified work to be scheduled (Signed Contract Attached)
· Work was completed on 6/19/14
· 16 yards of sod were installed
· Sod was alive & viable when installed (A Picture of the Installed Sod attached Exhibit "A") on 6/19/14 when installed
· Guarantee Bolded in contract reads
o Sod is guaranteed to be installed alive. No other warrantee is implied. Sufficient watering to keep sod alive is the responsibility of the homeowner.
· June 25th, 2014, (Six Days After Installation) Dr. [redacted] called to request that we inspect sod as it was not doing well and showed signs of dying.
· Attached (A Picture of the Sod on 6/25/14 attached Exhibit "B")
o Sod is suffering from lack of water
o Lower picture shows sod color a gray/bluish/green color. This is a clear indication that it is not receiving enough water.
o High Temperatures for days between installation and inspection listed below:

· Dr. [redacted] was advised that he was not watering sodden areas enough
· Even though sod may appear damaged on top from lack of water, it will most probably come back if watering is increased
· Although there were several pieces of sod damaged all recovered (except the one Dr. [redacted] is requesting)
· A response to Dr. [redacted]'s phone request was attempted on 7/29/14 through his e-mail account, but was returned as undeliverable repeatedly
· An additional response was sent to Dr. [redacted] by US mail on August 1St, 2014 (Copy Attached)
· We received a letter from Dr. [redacted] dated 8/11/14 stating many items and discusses in detail how he believed the sod should have been installed and that the sod had been half dead when installed.
· As evident from the pictures attached (sod installation mentioned above) this statement is incorrect and as all other piece of sod (16 mentioned above) are not in question the installation was done correctly.
Per Dr. [redacted]'s statement that he had "a nearly dead piece of sod placed" is incorrect as all sod was perfectly healthy upon completion of the service. I suggest that Dr. [redacted] failed to properly care for the product. As the sod was not guaranteed past the date of installation and he was repeatedly warned about proper watering we do not feel required to replace his sod.
