I was called and informed the vehicle was taken to [redacted] AutoI contacted the customer and said that I would be more than happy to tow his vehicle to our repair facility and provide a rental car until we determine what happenHe flat out refused and said NOI asked several times through out our conversations and I was rudely spoke to and said NO again and again I went to [redacted] auto and inspected the can myselfI have been and ASE certified Technician for yearsWhen I initially checked the oil I could not get a proper readingSome vehicles hold some residual oil in the oil dipstick tube which require multiple times of wiping the dipstick and recheckingI found the oil was within the allowable specs of an 1/8" or so over the full mark which may constitute a small amount of overfillNothing that would cause an engine to lock up by any means what so ever regardless of what the internet saysThe internet doesn't look at the vehicle or check oil!! It's only opinions of consumers mostly who are not certified or have any experience what so everAnyone can post and pretend to be someone that are not just giving opinionsEvery car issue is unique to that vehicleThe car has approx 133,milesEngines fatigue after years and hundreds of thousands of milesI have never experienced any make or model in years that would cause a major engine lock up for a minimal amount of overfillThe most common would be a seal or gasket leaking as a result but not with a minimal overfillI was also informed that the vehicle had major engine repairs by non certified Subaru technicians at [redacted] Auto which is small combination body shop repair shopThose are variables as well to the engine damage that he is experiencing. As to wanting to have his car repaired at a certified Subaru DealerHe he has never had his car at the Subaru DealerI called and spoke Ike on 12/2/at [redacted] SubaruThe vehicle has never been to the Subaru dealer for any maintenance or repairs [redacted] Subaru is unable to determine the causes of failure which they did tell this in writing to Mr [redacted] So what Certified Subaru Facility has been doing all the Subaru Certified Maintenance and Repairs?
