All of my conversations with Dale regarding the damage and what he would do in response were over the phone, the offer he made me was never put in writingI calmly called and explained what had occurred, the receiving shipping company documented everything with pictures, I forwarded those pictures to Dale He told me he would cover the taxidermy cost in Canada, his shipping cost and he would pay for the repair His offer seemed fair to me so there was no dispute Our problem arose when he called days later and said he would only recover the first two items, and from that I would be expected to use that money to make the necessary repairs Again, I never got the original offer in writing He seemed to be acting fairly and it didn't occur to me that he may rescind his offer I would hope that he would admit that everything I say is true and that he changed his offer from the what he said originallyI understand that you would like written documentation on the repair estimate from my taxidermist I will work to complete that and forward it to Dale.Thank you for your time in this matter, I am happy to see you are handling it promptly

All of my conversations with Dale regarding the damage and what he would do in response were over the phone, the offer he made me was never put in writing. I calmly called and explained what had occurred, the receiving shipping company documented everything with pictures, I forwarded those pictures to Dale.  He told me he would cover the taxidermy cost in Canada, his shipping cost and he would pay for the repair.  His offer seemed fair to me so there was no dispute.  Our problem arose when he called 2 days later and said he would only recover the first two items, and from that I would be expected to use that money to make the necessary repairs.  Again, I never got the original offer in writing.  He seemed to be acting fairly and it didn't occur to me that he may rescind his offer.  I would hope that he would admit that everything I say is true and that he changed his offer from the what he said originally. I understand that you would like written documentation on the repair estimate from my taxidermist.  I will work to complete that and forward it to Dale.Thank you for your time in this matter, I am happy to see you are handling it promptly.
