Good Morning, We have received this complaint from [redacted] We do understand her frustration, but there is a claim process that we have to followWe try our hardest to make the claim process go as quickly as possible with little frustration on the customers endThe whole process can take up to days to complete, but we try to get them done within daysHer claim has only been open since September 8th when she added on another pieceYes she emailed us on the 6th but we didn't receive it until the 8th due to us being closed for the Labor Day HolidayHer claim has only been open for daysWe are working with the insurance company to try and get the situation fixed as quickly as possiblePlease keep in mind that we are only responsible for $per lb per articleWe are trying to compensate you a little more then because we strive in making our customers happy and satisfiedPlease bare with us through the processWe will get this closed as soon as possible [redacted] the claims manager did speak to the owner and he is willing to give you $per lb the Teak Console Table even though we are only liable for the $per lbHe also stated that he would like to give you a reimbursement of $for your troubles

I am rejecting this response because:The company is lying why would I use racial slurs when one of the movers was blackI don't use racial slurs and I have no reason to lie but the company does for further businessIf they keep the same workers the business will continue to sufferThey have not even addressed taking the window and door off of the hingeIf they recorded me great perhaps they have me discussing the scamI absolutely was upset I was being charged for abysmal serviceAfter they left I went directly to the property manager and the police department about the service I receivedThe police informed that it is not against the law to be drunkIt is against the law to me when you are driving and drinking and moving my furnitureI also called the company and alerted them that their movers were drunk.The reviews even state about the workers they have working for them being drunkThey lie to you about what is coveredI want my hundred dollars backIt took them so long to come forward because they had to think of a lieIt is shameful the company have to lie because they continue to want alcoholics working for themI know a drunk when I see one my brother was an alcoholic who is now deceasedThey are lying the lady at the company was so desperate for business she almost begged for my businessLying for workers is why no one does their job any more because managers and administrators lie for horrible workers

Ms. was offered an estimate for her move over the phone on 1/10/2018, Ms. provided us with an inventory of the items that she wanted us to move however once we arrived to perform her move on 1/31/2018, there were additional items that needed to be moved that was not discussed over the phone (i.e....

Treadmill, Glass Shelves – both in which would cause an increase in price). • Treadmills – Need to be disassembled before transit to avoid possible damage • Glass Shelves – Need to be boxed and protected before transit to avoid breakage (The Moving Guys offered to move the glass without the proper box to avoid any additional fees and Ms. refused to sign the waiver) Ms. stated that she told The Moving Guys about these items and we were “running a scam” to get her business. We reminded Ms. that all calls are recorded and she continued to yell and scream at our on-site staff members as well as our office staff over the phone. Ms. stated that she is only paying for a 3 hour minimum, she did not want to be charged based off the actual time. During the time we were trying to assist [redacted], she continued to yell and curse at the crew members, making it very comfortable for all involved. She was getting aggressive and belittling the men who were trying to help her. She was also yelling at them to move faster. Our crew members have been part of our staff for over 10 years and we have a great reputation, our crew member’s work very hard and complaints such as this is not typical of our work ethic. After trying to assist [redacted], The Moving Guys decided we were not a perfect match to move forward with the move. We apologized that we could not make her happy and returned her furniture back in her home. Once the furniture was returned, she continued to yell at the crew members, telling them to get off her property. She used racial slurs multiple times during her yelling. The Moving Guys have evidence of the original call, the multiple calls of Ms. yelling at our office staff and a copy of the original inventory.

90 days to complete, but we try to get them done within 30 days. Her claim has only been open since September 8th when she added on another piece. Yes she emailed us on the 6th but we didn't receive it until the 8th due to us being closed for the Labor Day Holiday. Her claim has only been open for 15 days. We are working with the insurance company to try and get the situation fixed as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that  we are only responsible for $.60 per lb per article. We are trying to compensate you a little more then normal because we strive in making our customers happy and satisfied. Please bare with us through the process. We will get this closed as soon as possible. [redacted] the claims manager did speak to the owner and he is willing to give you $.90 per lb the Teak Console Table even though we are only liable for the $.60 per lb. He also stated that he would like to give you a reimbursement of $100 for your troubles.
