Called 11/13/to establish new service Call attempt #was at 11:22am Was on hold for minutes The call was picked up, the line left open for a solid seconds, then hung up Call attempt #was immediately afterwards Automated system gave wait time of minutes minutes later, same issue Call sounded as if someone picked up the line, hold music stopped, line stayed open for about 10-seconds, then line was disconnected This is the only provider in Hillsborough that provides to my apartment complex I have tried for two days to establish service I know at any moment my electricty will go out, as TECO will not answer their customer service line This is beyond inexcusable TECO has cornered providing in this area and if I cannot connect, then I am going to have greater issues Why is customer services for TECO like this? Unaccecptable I need someone from TECO customer service to contact me NOW and I have no idea how I can accomplish this

TECO is absolutely horrendous. No final notice, just someone barging in on me at 8am to turn off power. Seriously? 8am?! I cautiously let him inside and only because my boyfriend was also home. He insisted on turning off the power for a $160 bill. Are you kidding? I was waiting for a check to clear to pay it today anyway. He turns the power off as I'm literally on the phone paying the bill and refuses to turn it back on. He does tell me someone will be back by end of day to restore power. Now the business day is over and no one ever showed to turn the power back on. I am left with no power, no AC and a trash can full of food I now have to throw out due to lack of refrigeration.
This company is a monopoly and is your only option for electricity in Tampa, which should be illegal. They know you're stuck with them and they treat you like peasants. Their service alone makes me want to leave Florida.

We live in [redacted] we're a suburb of Mulberry, Fl. Every time it rains, we lose power!! Sometimes it's not raining at all and we lose power!! It's an average of every other week that we lose power! I've called and expressed my concern about all the homes that have been built and them upgrading the power grid. They have done "NOTHING!!" Always an excuse, but never a fix. Just excuses is all they have to offer!! Fed up with TECO Electriic, I must specify since they also offer gas for heating and cooking. Can't wait till someone else is able to sell us electricity that will hopefully listen to customer feedback!! Customer service with TECO Power stinks!!

Call attempt #2 was immediately afterwards. Automated system gave wait time of 10 minutes. 37 minutes later, same issue. Call sounded as if someone picked up the line, hold music stopped, line stayed open for about 10-15 seconds, then line was disconnected.

This is the only provider in Hillsborough that provides to my apartment complex. I have tried for two days to establish service. I know at any moment my electricty will go out, as TECO will not answer their customer service line.

This is beyond inexcusable. TECO has cornered providing in this area and if I cannot connect, then I am going to have greater issues. Why is customer services for TECO like this? Unaccecptable.

I need someone from TECO customer service to contact me NOW and I have no idea how I can accomplish this.
