In November of I used Go Capitol to purchase a truck/ trailer from United road service where I'm employed with to present, the truck/ trailer price was 27,Go Capitol informed me that they had to write my deal as a lease because of a tax lien I had on my credit, and that my payment would be 1,a month, I had them redo the numbers and added an extra to make my payment so that at the end of the lease, I would not have a balloon payment, I get a call from a *** ***, saying because I didn't notify Go Capitol days before my lease payment my intent to purchase the equipment, that they are adding more payments of and balloon payments more as a residual, which is more payments!! As of this month 05-was supposed to be my last payment, my lease terms was months I put down which was supposed to be payments upfront, I've paid them almost times what the truck cost, I've spent over 40,in repairs on the truck!! On 8/31/I submitted the claim for my semi truck / Peterbelt truck due to blow out on my tiresThe insurance company sent the check, I am assuming to the leasing company last week on October The Leasing company tried to deposit the check without Peterbelt's signature I am not sure why did not endorse the check over to peterbelt I was informed by the peterbelt dealer that the truck will be finally ready on Monday, October 30; however, insurance company is now saying that ** *** wants to Total it out I asked them isn't the Adjuster supposed to make that decision Currently, I have my deductible to pay for my truck and I have been without of work due to my truck in the shop for a couple of months now I seemed to be getting the run around For a new company, I do not need this, leasing company is reporting me late
The service involved is Non-Traditional Lease Financing for a Semi-Tractor The dollar amount in dispute is $54, The dates of the transaction were from 11/18/to 11/28/ A Contract/Agreement was signed with several modifications or amendments between the listed dates above
I attempted to resolve the issues with the companies by offering a lease buyout of $5k based on the fair market value and the condition of the leased equipment per no resolution
