Tamtech Pools installed a pool for me in the Summer of 2013. The workers were polite, respectful and neat. The sales representative was helpful and provides a positive experience. The installation ran 4 weeks longer than expected due to weather and poor scheduling. My problem started after the pool was finished. I noticed a discoloring of the plaster within the first 2 weeks. I contacted Tamtech and received little help. I finally spoke with the owner ([redacted]) and was treated very poorly. I met with [redacted] once and was threatened in regards to suing him. He said that I would not win because he is so well connected in the community. I did not bring up suing him and only wanted his help. Initially he also refused to speak with me with other people in the room. I also asked why the hot tub drains when the pump is not running. I was told this is normal. I never received no help after the pool was finished and moved my service provider to another company. The pool plaster discoloration is still there, the other company replaced a check valve and the hot tub no longer drains. We have had other warranty work done and choose to pay out of pocket rather than to deal with ([redacted]). The pool is OK the follow up service not so much. Lastly, [redacted] also said he would sue me if I made a negative comment on his service. I guess we will see what happens next.
