This response is regarding to Complaint ID# [redacted] The customer was given an estimate to remove the existing shower, doors and necessary hardware for preparation of a new installThe estimate also included extreme mold and mildew removal, minor plumbing and repair work, installation of new sheet rock in select areas, as well as, new installation of the select shower insert and select shower fixturesThe original estimate totaled $ The customer supplied majority of the materials needed to complete the project, however, he gave us permission in person to use his account he had at the local hardware store for any additional materials needed The account was utilized as needed and any additional tools and materials that were leftover from the job unused were to be paid by the company The job was expected to be done within 3-days with no unforeseen circumstancesUnfortunately, some circumstances were unavoidable and delayed the project from being complete in the timely manner the customer had hoped which was days, at the mostDuring the process of the project the customer was aware and understanding of the issues arisingThese conversations were done in person and the customer even attempted to assist in figuring out the best way of completion because he is knowledgeable in the area of work Upon the last day of completing the original estimate, the customer then asked if the new shower doors he purchased could be installed The shower door install was not part of the original agreement The customer was in full contact and aware of the status daily due to his employment in the areaHe stopped in multiple times to check in and was given full detail of the day’s progress Please see attached a few text messages between me and the customer as that is all I was allowed to attachHe never stated any concern nor asked me to come back for any additional work to be completedThe customer only expressed concern after multiple attempts to receive paymentAlso attached are the original agreement and updated agreement upon completion A finalized invoice was sent to the customer on May 16, in the amount of $The customer confirmed that he received the email and had sent out paymentThe customer still did not show any concern that the project was not up to his acceptanceAs of now, 9/29/2016, the project has not been paid for in full in the amount of $ I have attempted multiple times to meet with the customer to come to a fair agreementThe customer would not set up a time and even ignored messages/phone calls for multiple daysI hope for the customer to agree upon a fair price for the labor and time put into the projectI am able to provide more documentation if neededThank you
