Response:
[redacted] came to us on March 28, 1997 to have us custom make a pair of 14 karat gold diamond and sapphire earrings as indicated on the attached appraisal and had made a deposit to start the work. Upon completion of the order and paid in full and pick up the earrings on May 31, 1997. We issued her a completed appraisal. The cost of the entire order was $16,000.00 including taxes.
Then on November 12, 2012, she came to the store requesting us to remove only the sapphires from the earrings and one sapphire from her own ring to send all 3 loose gemstones to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Laboratories to have them identified/verified with other minor service to one stone which we did with an agreed upon price as indicated with the enclosed receipt at which this process could had been done by herself as we had told her such. She agreed with the cost and made a deposit of $1000 but still have a balance of $2096 for us to release all 3 stones back to her with the laboratories' results.

I am rejecting this response because: these people are lying. I purchased the ring also from them in 1993 for $8,500.00 dollars and they gave me appraisal of $15,125.00 and after that I ordered matching earrings in 1997 and paid for them $16,000.00, and the appraisal they gave me for them was $28,800.00. All of the above purchases were made for cash, because they tald me if I pay cash I don't have to pay taxes. I have all the receipts and appraisals. In 2012 I went thru hardship and needed money so I went to a reputable company to sell both products. The name of the company
"[redacted]" address [redacted], NY [redacted] ([redacted]). The appraiser looked at the product and told me that is only worth $3,000.00 for everything. I thought I am going to die there. He sad if I would have the proper papers maybe I will get more. So that what brought me back to TANG'S jewelers. When TANG'S got papers back from GIA they fax it to [redacted] for me and the appraiser from [redacted] tald me that those papers only proof that he was write about the stones, they are low quality and are not worth more than $3,000.00 dollars. So now please explain to me what should I do next, and why those kind of people like TANG'S jewelers are in business.
