Review: I hired Mr. Tanks to remove trees from three (3) different properties on a referral from a total stranger that knew a family member. Mr. Tanks was suppose to clean area after cutting timber. The term, cleaning was used as clearing remnants of cuttings and piling so that it could be burned at a later date.

One property (10 acres) was not cleaned for the reason that Mr. Tanks gave, 'Yellow jacket nests encountered' toward end of work. Mr. Tanks stated that he would be back to clear and pile up debris that was left after cutting timber. While he was working at the first property he needed to do some equipment repair and I allowed him to use my welder and supplies to complete the repairs to his equipment without charge on two separate occasions.

Second property (3 acres) was left in same manner and he has not finished cutting all the timber that was requested to be cut. When I called Mr. Tanks he stated that a piece of equipment had broken and he would be back when the equipment was repaired. Mr. Tanks had already removed every piece of his equipment from the property and I was told by several people that Mr. Tanks would most likely not return.

The third property was not cleared because someone else wanted the remnants for firewood and they were going to clear it.

I called Mr. Tanks more than three (3) times to try to resolve the matter. To date Mr. Tanks has not returned a single call. Messages were left for him all three times.

I am still working on getting the land cleared from the total mess that was left behind. I have spent $1500 to date trying to get the debris cleaned up.

I am widowed and still work to try just to keep my home. Mr. Tanks has put a very large job and hardship on my shoulders. Someone told me to get the work in writing and I did not. I thought Mr. Tanks was an honest person and would do a good job for me.

If you do decide to hire Mr. Tanks please make sure that you get it everything in writing so that if you have to go to court you will have a better chance of it holding up.Desired Settlement: I would greatly appreciate it if Mr. Tanks to return my calls and stop ignoring my calls and messages. He should keep his word and complete the work as promised. Otherwise I am out of pocket money that I do not have and my home now does not look as presentable as I would like it to.
