Tanque Verde Dental

I am new to Tucson and was looking fir a dentist. I responded to an ad in the Savvy Shopper for a $48 service of x-rays and cleaning. After the technician did the usual xrays and probed for gum disease, the dentist came in, took a five second look at my mouth, and told me I had extensive gum disease and needed an expensive scaling procedure. I replied that I had ZERO symptoms of gum disease, no bleeding after brushing or flossing, and ZERO sensitivity to hot or cold. The Dentist said that was unusual, but I still had extensive gum disease and needed an expensive and painful procedure. I said I only wanted a regular cleaning, which he REFUSED TO DO. Bait and switch. And unethical not to provide me with the service I asked for. Wasted 2 hours of my time as well.
