I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
My main issue with Tantini is that in October I went into the business and I specifically asked how long my account was frozen for and they told me January. That means that I should not have been charged $32.99 in November or December. The employee may have made a mistake in telling me January, but I should not be paying for their mistake. As far as I knew, the 3rd month of my package began this January. It doesn't matter what the contract said in this case, my account (according to the employee) should have been frozen until this month. In regards to the $5.oo monthly fee for freezing an account, I would expect any respectable and honest business to ensure that a customer was aware of all fees. I was not made aware of these fees. I am not in Delaware for 5 months of the year, therefore, I never would have done business with Tantini had I know of all the strings attached to their product.

This woman signed forms that clearly stated the contract was for a minimum of 3 months, however it would continue to draft beyond that until she cam in  and signed a form in store. That contract also states that a freeze may be done for a $5 per month fee. All this is an the contract that she SIGNED & READ. A contract is a contract. I have already provided you with those signed contracts. Thank you.

This issue has not at all been satisfied! It's true that the owner submitted film of the actual theft from police who now have a warrant out for the arrest of that individual. That issue is between the individual and the employer ( Tantini salon) .I understand that they have signs posted about not being responsible for items lost. That does not apply to this situation. This item was LOCATED  by an employee after a phone call stating where it was left. The owner of the necklace was told she could pick it up the next day, it was then admittedly in the possession of the salon. (No longer lost)This negates the signage.Once the item was found, it should then have been secured as it was no longer a lost item. It belonged to an individual with a name and contact information. This was negligent behavior of the salon. Because the item was not secured while in the possession of the salon, knowing to whom it belonged, it was then stolen by a different employee before the owner of the necklace got there to recover the next day.[redacted]At this point the necklace becomes stolen from the salon, not the owner of the necklace.[redacted]My reason for filing this complaint is because the owner ( [redacted]) refuses to take care of the loss of item in her keep., requiring we pursue  legally.Ms. [redacted] has not returned several phone calls over months time to rectify this situation.I do not believe this to be good business practice, much less, it's a terrible disregard to basic customer service. There seems no evidence of " good will".The irresponsibility of the salon for not having secured an item left but recovered implicates their responsibility for replacement. This item was stolen three months ago. It's total cost of replacement is $140.00.I resent that Ms. [redacted] has been so difficult to deal with, and is uninterested in resolving this issue with regard to replacement. She continues to deny any responsibility or resolve. It seems most ridiculous that this must repeatedly be explained to Ms. [redacted], and that I've had to go this level to try to resolve a very simple issue. Again the total replacement cost is $140.00.

The police have the suspects information that stole this necklace. It is not my legal obligation to replace the cost of this stolen item.  They should be looking to the police and suspect for restitution.  Sincerely,   [redacted]

Response:

This matter has been handed over to Newark Police Department. They have the persons information that stole the necklace and the police are handling it. This isnt a store responsibility. There are signs clearly posted that state we are not responsible for lost or stolen items, however, we did role our tapes back to assit th epolice in finding the suspect.

Review: In 2014 I purchased a tanning package that was 3 months for $99, each month being $32.99 The worker explained to me that I could freeze my account and save my months so that I wouldn't have to use them consecutively, which was perfect because I don't live in Delaware so I wouldn't have been around for the 3 consecutive months. What she didn't tell me was that every month that my account was frozen I would get a $5 fee. I froze my account for (what I thought was) 6 months. So I got $30 of fees that I didn't know I had agreed to. My account should have been frozen until November. I went into Tantini at the end of October and if my package was unfrozen in November and she told me that I had frozen it until January. I didn't feel like tanning in November so I didn't mind this. But then I was charged $32.99 in November. I didn't notice until mid-November and I planned on just letting go because it was supposed to be the last month of my package. But now I've noticed that I also got charged $33 this month (January) and in December. I'm not even in Delaware this month so I can't do anything but watch my money go to waste. This is extremely frustrating because I made a point to check with Tantini to see when my account was frozen until (thinking it was november) and they told me it was January. Also, I only signed up for 3 months (which I used two last spring) but I'm being charged for 5. I would think a business would inform you of charges without just charging your card unbeknownst to the customer.Desired Settlement: I would like atleast my $98.97 (3 months of tanning) or $128.97 (3 months of tanning and the $30 of fees for freezing my account, which was not explained to me). I would also like my account to be terminated.
