Hello, The conversation with this customer was over the phone and as you can see in the copy of his order confirmation attached, we ended up finding him another item which he was interested in and offered him an additional 10% discount to the order We shipped the order out with free day insured shipping

The truth of the matter is that I was not interested in the replacement item But had hoped that it would sufficeIt is sub par and ultimately I cannot in good conscious give it as the gift the original item was intended to be So now I have an item that I cannot return or sell for anywhere near the purchase price to recover my losses., because it's value was over estimated.

Now if they are not happy with the item, they can certainly return it just as long as it has not been heavily worn. Our return policy is 30 days from the day of shipment. However, we will still accept the return for this customer if they item is not worn. We are not looking for problems, we would like to keep our customers as satisfied as possible.

Review: I purchased their advertised "Daily Deal" on August *, 2014. The "deal " was advertised on the internet for this day - a 2 karat tanzanite , white gold ring for $ 160.

I reviewed the ring and purchased the item. My credit card was charged $160. I recieved a confirmation e-mail.

On August ** 2014 , I was sent an email that the company was giving me a refund of $ 160 on my credit card.

I called Tanzanite .com and their customer service rep told me that they had advertised the ring at the wrong price. I purchased the ring but they would not sale it at the advertised price. If I wanted the ring I purchased and they advertised all day on the internet on August [redacted] , I would have to pay $799 on August *,2014 instead of the advertised and purchased price of $160. Even though they refunded my purchase at $160 without my request. They also offered that I could purchase another item at a sale price due to their mistake. They have a daily deal of 80% off and thus I found a necklace and offered to pay for this item as the "daily deal" of 80% off at the price of $551.60 since this is a daily practice of the company. Also, They refused this solution to their mistake. I am concerned that they are advertising a price , selling an item and then asking for more money for the sold item! Thank youDesired Settlement: I would prefer to purchase the origional item I had bought and charged for on August *,2014- 2k tanzanite oval , 14 k white gold ring for $160.

The second solution would be purchasing the item I requested a 14 k gold oval tanzanite and diamond pendant for $551.60 which is 80% off which is their daily practice to sale an item as a daily deal.

I dont think it is fair to advertise and allow a customer to purchase , then to ask for much more money for the item after the item is sold !!!!

Review: The item I purchased and paid for was listed at $563 (Item TZR26492). I received a receipt and order confirmation via email within a few minutes and monies were charges to my credit card. Several hours later I received the following email...

Hello,

I apologize for the inconvenience however the item you purchased today is not qualified for deal of the day. There was an error in our systems.

Please get back to me with what you would like us to do with your order.

###-###-#### [redacted] When I contacted [redacted] she said that they could in no way honor the price as listed for this item. Subsequently the item has been removed and replaced with another sale item. Initially she recommended a ring that was more than double the sale price that I had paid initially. She then recommended a ring with a smaller center stone to replace my original purchase with and charged me an additional $15 to make up the difference of the alternate ring. She failed to inform me at that time of my rights as a consumer under statutes of the state of New York.Desired Settlement: I believe that tanzanite.com has an obligation to fulfill my order as per the contract that I entered into when giving them my money. I had a reasonable expectation to receive the product that I purchased. As a consumer I should not be receive an inferior product for more money than the original product I purchased.

Tanzanite.com and it representatives have a responsibility to inform customers of their rights as consumers.
