Of course we at Tapa the World are not pleased when any of our customers are not pleased.I would like to thank you for taking the time to express your concerns.As owner of the restaurant, I would like to personally apologize for your unsatisfactory experience.I was actually present on the Wednesday night you came inI received no indication that there was a problem of any sort.Without being defensive, I would like to state that I feel it somewhat of an exaggeration to say that the server's "breasts were hanging out." It is a fine line to walk sometimes, given the vastly diverging tastes and styles in women's fashion these daysI'm sorry that your personal taste found her dress inappropriate, but for the record, this is the first time in years of being open for business that a customer has made such a complaint As far as not addressing you at the table, I will say that a server takes thousands of orders from all kinds of peopleIn a tapas style restaurant orders are often sharedIt is not at all uncommon for one customer to take the lead when ordering and order for all parties at the tableI can only assume this is what happened from the point of view of the serverI'm sorry if you felt slighted or ignored, but most certainly that was not the intention.Regarding the food presentation, again, that chicken dish has been made thousands of times, and is a personal favorite of many regular customersI could see how one might view the presentation as somewhat "watery" or "sloppy." The wine reduction sauce is meant to lean towards a more liquid consistency in order to go with the mashed potatoesIt is certainly within the realm of possibility that in your particular instance it wasn't reduced enoughOverall, the presentation is a rustic one, that is for sureAgain, there is a matter of opinion hereSometimes dishes are designed to have every item "just so" on the plate, every herb and drop of sauce in a specific place...Other dishes are more "family style," that is to say, unpretentious or more like at homeAs for the dish being cold, there is no excuse for that and that could have been remedied right there in the momentUnfortunately you chose not to say anything at the timeCertainly we can send you a gift certificate to cover the cost of that item if you would likeAs an owner who chooses to be present most evenings of the week, I appreciate knowing at the time if something has not been satisfactoryFor future reference, please let the management know when you are there if anything is amiss in any restaurant you may choose to patronize.Your comments and concerns have been shared with the staff in an effort to be more sensitive in any given situation.Respectfully yours, [redacted]

Review: My partner and I went to this restaurant for a late dinner on 3/11/2015. The sign at the hostess stand reads "please wait to be seated". We waited for a few minutes to be acknowledge in order to get a table in a practically empty restaurant. Two different waitress came to our table and neither was interested in taking my order but took my partners order. I waited an unreasonable amount of time to be acknowledge for a food order and my partner had to ask the waitress to make a trip to the table to take my food order. The second waitress wore a inappropriate shirt with her breasts hanging out. Upon receiving my food I was given a watery plate with chicken and potatoes.The food was placed on my plate sloppy and without care for the price range of the restaurant. I was treat with disrespect and my food had no presentation for the price they charged. The food was cold and bland to the taste. When the bill came it had a charge for a bottle of wine and my partner only had ordered 2 glasses of wine. The waitress would only speak with my partner about the mistake on the bill even though I was paying the bill with my credit card.Desired Settlement: I was disappointed that a restaurant of this caliber would treat a couple so differently while they are paying good money to dine. I think that pride in service, dignity, honesty and respect were lacking in the late night staff. I want to be refunded so that I can dine at the sister restaurant [redacted]. I would like to try for a better customer service experience and have hot food to eat that looks presentable for the high end prices that are charged. I also would like a written apology.
