Tara was hired to photograph my daughter's wedding. A deposit was paid and the remainder paid within days of her service. The finished product received 2+ months later.When we expressed our displeasure with the photos, she offered to re-edit. All the photos were dull, washed out, the color was gone, and at every venue her dress was a different color (light and airy was her term). Every picture was taken from the back of the church and reception, incorporating the backs of the guests heads in all the pictures. She blamed the layout of the church- it is small but will hold 145 guests. Attendance-35 guests. Key wedding photos were not there.There was not one picture that you could enlarge or put in a wedding album. Outside photos were somewhat better yet very difficult to find one or two suitable to frame. Photos with Christmas lights in February? First dance photos are of their backs.We complied with her requests to tag our favorites (450 photos but difficult to find 20 that were only mediocre) so she would know which to re-edit. Then she would re-edit one in a different editing style and we could let her know if it was suitable. She provided a stock photo from the internet to show what other option we had. How is that appropriate?? In my opinion, besides batch editing them to "light & airy", NO other edits were done to any of the photos. I have requested the RAW image files so that I can edit them myself. She has refused.Many emails were exchanged and her emails stated numerous times "I stand by my offer to re-edit add vibrancy/ color to the photos and will crop photos from the ceremony".She never followed through on this Throughout this process I have only tried to receive a product that we paid for and felt was unsatisfactory.I have given her plenty of opportunity to make it right. Had she done this, I would have been more than happy to recommend her to others.
