parking lot at [redacted] did indeed flood.Rainfall was more than the surface water drainage system was designed to sustain. . . . .As soon as this. matter was brought to our attention, as an emergency temporarysolution to the matter, a commercial grade sump pump was purchased, and water ispumped from the parking lot as needed.Upon a recent inspection, it was noted one of the underground drainage lines isblocked. A plumbing contractor has been contacted to service that line ASAP. We areunder the impression that this will permanently solve the puddling problem.

The managing agent for the apartment complex in question took a deposit for an apartment and ran a credit and criminal background check on the prospective tenant. The report from the screening company indicated “DENIED” on its report. The $200 deposit would be returned as a result.  ...

On June 21st the tenant called the corporate offices of Targa Real Estate Services demanding that his deposit be returned immediately. The tenant was told that the paperwork from the onsite manager had not yet been received in the corporate office – and that receipt of the paperwork was necessary to process the refund. The paperwork should be received and the check processed no later than Wednesday, June 28th.   State law provides a 21-day turn-around period, and on June 21st, only a few days of the allowed time had passed.   The paperwork was received in the corporate office later than same afternoon (June 21st) and was given to the property’s bookkeeper in Targa’s office for processing.   At the time of this writing of this response (June 22nd), the paperwork has been processed, and the refund check has been issued. The tenant has been notified that the check is ready for pick-up.

tenant directly above her unit were notified that their lease agreements would not be renewed. No eviction notices were delivered – neither tenant was evicted. In order to fully investigate the cause of any chemical odor, both units must be vacant. Thus, both tenants’ lease agreements could be and were not renewed.
