Poor response time from office on a call backThe initial visit proved the technician was not familiar with the latest vent installation kitsHe suggested we replace the kit with a traditional dryer kit and get the duct cleanedAfter I had it replaced and had the ducts cleaned I asked for Tarheel to send out the technician to re-set the heating element in the dryer againThe duct was not very dirty but I paid to have it cleaned anyway Unfortunately, my warranty company would not cover another company (as suggested by Tarheel as they were booked a week out for call backs on services they initially provided) for the same problem on my dryer I'm still waiting to hear from them..really hoping they will respond by the 24th hour tomorrowMy washer was moved around and its now leaking water from the third floor of my houseDisappointing! I thought the technician was thorough and conscientious but I'm out $for a cleaning and a new kit that I did not needStill no dryer after a weekI do have wet floors though! Call me Tarheel!!
This company is professional and easy to work with. I called for service and they came out and ordered the needed parts for my LG washer with no requests for extra funds until my appliance was completely repaired and working to my satisfaction. They worked around my work schedule which was a big plus.
We were scheduled to Tarheel Appliance through our xxxxx warranty. They gave a 5 hour window (12PM - 5PM) with a 30 minute call ahead. Tarheel contacted us just after noon on the day of service and let us know they would be there at 12:45. I couldn't get to the house until 1PM and rather than make things work, Tarheel cancelled the call and told my wife to get another service contractor through xxxxx. Amazing that a company would be this inflexible over 15 minutes.
We had the very unfortunate experience in dealing with Tarheel Appliance. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. I do not recommend this company for other costumers.
