I am rejecting this response because: they keep using the fire as an excuse to hide the fact that when we agreed to have the work done they only had a few jobs ahead of me. Our correspondence was all done after the fire, not before. They decided to continue postponing my yard because they were taking on commercial work which he told me payed more. I have an issue with people who accept a job but put you off for the greed of more money, string us along for almost 4 months. My schedule was wide open to do the driveway and cannot be used as an excuse. It is pour customer service in many consumers opinions to take on a job, guarantee it will get done by the end of the season then drop them 3 weeks before the paving season ends. Those are the facts period. They should have not taken all the work they did if scheduling was a problem. There was no schedule issues when we accepted their bid. They brought the problem on themselves by taking to much work on after me, key words being after me. Not my problem, theirs.

Standard process is to try and fit work into schedule. For residential customers, there is no contract, but we do require a deposit to cover material costs. Email appearing to agree to do work was simply an outline of scope and attempt to fit into schedule as best we could. However, mr [redacted] was concerned we would interfere with his sleep, which made it difficult for us given backlog of work.  Revdex.com must realize that fort macmurry fire did not just impact those who lost their homes. everyone was impacted, including us. WE had massive backlog of work this year and we are a very small company. Scheduling all the work was very challenging as some competing paving companies left the city for good.  Over schedule resulted from effects of fire. many estimates were completed before  fire and approvals were delayed due to evacuation. Subsequently,  many  customers(also impacted by fire) approved in large blocks over short period of time upon returning  Mr [redacted] was simply placed in cue, however we informed him that we could not gaurantee a date to complete and suggested he talk to our competitor on August 8... he said they were too expensive and decided to wait for us.It is strange that such a so called disastisfied customer sees resolution to complaint as us completing driveway???. if we are that bad, why does he want us to work for him??? we also reserve the right to not work for customers we feel are difficult to deal with. Mr [redacted] is in that category.[redacted] forTarMac Parking Lot Maintenance1-98 Wilson Drive, Fort McMurrayP. 780-742-7236P. 780-370-0333www.tarmacplm.com
