Mr [redacted] was preapproved for an auto loan pending the final deal and inspection of the autoAllpreapprovals are subject to the final deal on a particular vehicle.Upon inspection of the vehicle, it was obviously recognizable as a former police car as the exterior paintwas the original police paint colorThe exterior body frame was plugged with plastic fillers where thelight bar and spotlight previously were locatedThe inside of the unit was in poor condition with wireshanging down where equipment previously was connectedWhen the auto was started, the mileageindicator did not come on to show the actual mileage of the vehicle, an important consideration indetermining the value of the autoThese factors combined diminished the overall book value of thecollateral and possible resale value.Overall the condition and type of auto did not meet TCCU underwriting standardsApplicant wasinformed that we would be happy to look at a different type of auto to finance for himWe sincerelyregret any misunderstanding that may have occurred during this transactionIt is our intention to honorour approval for Mr [redacted] in regards to acceptable type and condition of the auto that he may beinterested in

Single interest insurance of $2,was added to the borrower's loan 11/05/A partial refund of $1,was applied 11/09/Refunds are based on the dates of coverage as shown on the insured's policyWe have no control over thisUpon receipt of continued insurance coverage, the remaining $1,of single interest insurance was refunded 12/22/At no point was the loan payment amount increased.? The borrower only recently contacted us regarding her complaintTCCU's Member Solutions Manager attempted to contact the borrower and left a message requesting she return the call.? The call was not returned, although the borrower made contact with other staff members who have been working with her on this.A recalculation of interest on this loan, without the additional of single interest insurance, has resulted in a credit to the loan of $When she applied, the? borrower opted to add credit? life and credit disability insurance to her loanThese premiums are added to the principal balance monthlyThe cost is factored into the monthly payment, but the premiums added to the loan increase the outstanding balance.? This is an optional insurance the borrower requestedIt is not required for the loanWe encourage the borrower to contact our Member Solutions Manager to discuss the resolution of this complaint, should she have further questions

First of all I have insurance, second of all if there was issue in what business waits almost two years later, also no one has contacted me back and I hope the phone calls have been recorded so that the truth can be heardInsurance company tells something totally different

With regard to Ms***'s complaint, single interest insurance was placed on the vehicle in October of 2014, a partial refund was issued in December of 2014, and then single interest insurance was placed again in October of To date, we have not received proof of coverage for the entire term of either period in which single interest insurance was placed
If the insurance coverage provided by the borrower does not cover the entire period of lapsed coverage, as was the case with Ms***’s loan, a partial refund is issued and the borrower is responsible for paying the difference, which is done by way of an increase in the scheduled loan paymentsIf insurance is provided for the entire period required, an adjustment is made to return the loan payments to the original amount
Prior to placement of the insurance, the borrower is mailed several notifications of lapse in insurance coverage, along with notification of the impending placement of single interest insuranceThe borrower is also notified of the impact this will have on the loan, as well as any resulting increase in the loan payments necessary to cover the cost of the insurance
Credit Union records indicate multiple conversations with Ms*** throughout regarding the status of this loan and the placement of the single interest insurance added in and in Our records don’t reflect the conversation Ms*** indicates she had with our employee referenced in her complaint, nor does he have any recollection of a conversation with her; however, if we failed to respond to a request or follow up with her on this issue, we apologize

Still doesn't make since an the sad thing no one has called me at all who does business like that I know in the future where and what to doI can complain all day and everyday but this company will never man up to why it took them a year to add something that was not availableI haven't received a break down by mail or email of the matter at handVery unorganized bank were every time I call nobody knows what is going on even the insurance company. I'm very upset an hope I can get some real help to fix this matter

We sympathize with Ms***, but she has not complied with the terms of her loan agreement, specifically with regard to the provision of collateral insurance on the vehicle securing her loanUntil she provides adequate insurance on the vehicle, our policies prohibit any further extensions of
credit
Although we’ve had numerous discussions with Ms*** on this topic, it would appear there is still some confusionWe will gladly revisit this topic with her at her earliest convenience
