Review: Our landlord selected Tarry Fuel as a oil provider. Originally we never received invoices, our landlord told us the balance was $2,200.00 so we sent a check for that amount, it was cashed. I never asked for additional service but they kept delivering it anyway without our knowledge or authorization. We switched because they were constantly mis-billing us. They sent us invoices and we sent checks, but they never cashed them, they just kept sending more inaccurate invoices. We have made without exaggeration dozens of calls to correct the issue. We have not had their service for over a year. Last month we finally got someone to work with us and fix the invoice. They promised to send a corrected invoice for $301.11 and agreed that the $200+ service charge was a mistake and the late fees would be waived because we had been trying to pay for over a year and they refused to take credit/debit cards up until last month. We never received a corrected invoice. We instead received a $600+ bill from a debt collector for an account we never even open, service we never authorized and we call Tarry Fuel, they agreed again that the $200+ service fee was a mistake but would not take off the late fees. They were rude, disrespectful, ignorant of basic contract law and have no right being in the energy business. I own an energy brokerage and supply company they are a disgrace to the industry.Desired Settlement: We want them to send an apology letter for all the aggravation and deceptive business practices and we want them to remove our name from the debt collectors account and we want a proper invoice for $301.11 so we can pay it and move on.
