At TaskRabbit, we are committed to assisting Users with having a fantastic experience on the platform. In this instance, the Client was offered a full refund as a courtesy. The Client's full refund was processed on May 10, 2017. The Client called TaskRabbit's Customer Support Team to confirm this refund and it was confirmed and communicated to her via her phone call as well. If the Client would like an emailed receipt for this refund, we are happy to provide one via a request to the current email thread we have open with them.

At TaskRabbit, we are committed to delivering a quality experience on each and every task. In this particular instance, the Client’s claim falls outside of the TaskRabbit Happiness Pledge ([redacted]). In this specific case, the damages fall under “Ineligible property: including damage to common areas”. As a courtesy though, the Client was refunded for this task in full on April 27, 2017.

Task Rabbit said they were refunding us, however, it has been more than a week and we have not received a refund or notice of a refund from our bank or from Task Rabbit.  Would you please let us know what we should do?  We would appreciate your help!

Client's bank, TaskRabbit is unable to refund the Client any longer. We apologize for this inconvenience, but once a disputed charge/ chargeback is issued, our payments processor no longer allows a refund (as the Client would then be refunded twice). We look forward to continuing to work with the Client to find an amenable solution to their claim if they are able to retract the bank dispute/ chargeback.

I have already stopped the claim with my bank and am not being refunded through them, which is why I came here. I never heard back from anyone at taskrabbit. Please contact me directly to issue the refund then. Thank you!

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The proposed solution of giving me a 2 hour credit (at max $60/hour) will not cover the cost of hiring a new tasker to repair & paint 2 walls, provide supplies, and reinstall the picture. Furthermore, most taskers cost more than $60/hour. I refuse to pay anything additional out of pocket for work that was done incorrectly due to TaskRabbit’s negligence in vetting their tasker. Sincerely,[redacted]
