I am returning $to *** *** 7/p.m

Business over-charges and attempts to double-charge unsuspecting customers. The problem here is not the food, or the long wait times, or the terrible customer service. The big problem with these people are overcharging their customers, trying to double-charge people who pay with a card, and adding their own extra "tips" when ringing you out. Their business practices are sketchy and untrustworthy. I have met multiple people who have experienced exactly what I went through. The first time I ordered food from Tasty II, I paid with my debit card over the [redacted]. I even got an emailed receipt. When I get there, they tell me I had picked "pay with cash," and tried getting me to pay the $30 total AGAIN. Then they tried making me write down my card number "just in case." (I have used the [redacted] for restaraunts and you cannot mess that up; there is no way the order would have said "cash," I personally feel they tried double-charging me and I caught them red-handed). They got real quiet after I pointed out that it said "paid with card" right on the receipt, then they called their boss on the phone again (who was the one who told them I hadn't paid yet in the first place). The second time I decided to pay with cash, because of my first experience. Once again, I show up and have to wait around for 20 mins for my food. The total for my order had been $12, when I got there the lady rang it up (while refusing to look at my receipt on my phone) and it totaled over $20. She also apologized for the wait and said she would "throw in some extra crab rangoon so I keep coming back." So how did my order go from $12 to over $20 just because she added some "free" crab rangoon? She then proceeded to blow me off when I asked for a copy of the receipt. I have also had several friends who have caught them adding "tips" for themselves when ringing the food up. This business has some very, very shady practices. Desired SettlementI will be refunded the full amount for the meal I was overcharged for yesterday (11/04/14, $20.36). Should the business feel any remorse for their actions, they can also refund the price of my first purchase that they attempted to double-charge. ($32) If refund is refused, owner will be hearing from the [redacted] on the matter of foul business practices and petty theft. Business Response We had no clue of the overcharges until we received the letter from Revdex.com. As soon as we received the letter we started trying to reach the customer to refund him. We would never over charge someone on purpose. We are more that happy to refund this customer the full $20.36 for his troubles. As for his first visit to us, if he can bring receipt from bank showing that we double charged him, we will refund that amount as well. We have been in business for 14 years because we try to do the best that we can for our customers. No one is 100% perfect 100% of the time, we are only human. We admit our mistake and are trying our best to resolve this issue. We've tried reaching this customer several times with no luck. Should he finally get in touch with us we will be more than happy to make this right. As to his complaint stating our employees add their "own tips" this is impossible. when you order online, you either tip or don't. We have no access to the costumers credit card information. So I have no idea where he heard this from, but he was misinformed. Consumer Response If possible, I would like to withdraw my complaint or close the case. I spoke with an employee from the business the night following the latest incident that had occurred, after I had originally made the complaint, and they cleared up the misunderstanding concerning my online orders. I advised them that several people have also had similar concernsI apologize for the inconvenience. Sincerely,[redacted]
