Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The attachment does not state a time frame in which the deposit would be forfeited, nor does it state that the appointment has to fall within a certain window of time, nor was this verbally stated when requesting a depositI advised him at the time when I came in that I was having surgery he stated that he would need time to sketch it so that he could see exactly how he would be able to fix itI was not provided a receipt so I sent him a message on Facebook with the amount and details of what I asked for so that when I came in for the service he would be awareHe never contacted me and even let me know that the sketch was done or contacted me to set an appointmentAn appointment date was never agreed upon because I was having surgery and he did not let me know he was done, so how exactly did I miss an appointment when one was never scheduled in the first placeI contacted the artist once the doctor advised me of my restrictions and when I could do certain thingsThe only thing that [redacted] stated was that the deposit had to be paid in order for him to do the sketchI paid in cash, I discussed the details of what I wanted, sent a message via Facebook with the details and that was the endAs previously stated, I was never even advised that the sketch was completed, I have all messages between me and the artistI would like my money refunded, I do not want to do business with the artist at this point based on his temperament, I am not sure what the final result will be Regards, [redacted]

The artist never set a date/appointment to have the work because he had to sketch itTherefore, the appointment was not missed and the deposit is refundableThere is nothing on any of the documents submitted that says anything about a day time frameThe artist dropped the ball plain and simple and instead of just doing the work that he originally agreed to do because he failed to advise me that he wanted me to come in within a certain time frame he is trying to take money that is not due to himHe would not have lost anything by simply completing the task, because I advised him in advance of the situationI advised him I was having surgery and that it would be a while before I would be able to return, if it was a problem at that time he should have stated to wait until I was ready and I could pay the deposit, he would sketch it and let me know when he was ready to proceedAt no point did he even state he was done sketching the pieceI would like my deposit refunded in full and this case closedComplaint: ***

tattoo that she had received from another tattoo shop a few days prior to coming into my shop. We had previously talked about me doing this same tattoo that she Went to the other shop and had got it done and then it wasn't done right so she came back to me to fix it. So on her visit on Aug.   27th we discussed on fixing the tattoo and how she wanted it done. also advised her that she would have to wait till the new tattoo healed and that she could schedule an appointment and I would have to draw something up to fix what she had gotten, that there would be a deposit. t also made her aware that if she did not show up or call to reschedule her appointment that the deposit will be voided. She then told me about her having surgery, she did not give me a specific date so then let her know that her deposit as also vailed for 30 days. also have this stated and posted inside the shop so customers are aware of the. rules when it comes to making and setting up appointments. So after not hearing anything from Mrs. [redacted] between Aug. 27d ! and Nov.4th it voided her deposit. Also deposits are non-refundable and customers are made aware of all this at the time they come in and set up their appointments. I also never told her that I would not fix her tattoo  just advised her that it would be the original price I quoted her for the tattoo (the same conversation we had on Aug.2T ) because she was way past her 30 day deadline and not one time contacted me about the tattoo until 69 days later, when she was ready to come in and get it done. Knowing that she was having surgery she could have at least kept in contact and I would have worked with her about the situation,Sincerely,[redacted]  (owner)
